          Museum GREAT. Viator a problem once again

          The museum/house is excellent. Don’t miss it. Very well done. Once again, however, VIATOR’s tour operator was a problem. I never got the tickets (and they were not in my junk). After repurchasing them at the museum, I went to write a complaint to the tour operator. Under “contact the tour operator” were my tickets. Tickets were supposed to come via email not under the cryptic function“contact your tour operator” whose purpose is communication with the operator not a portal for retrieving tickets. I lost $54.00 because of the non existent communication of my tickets

          The museum was very good showing how Rembrandt lived and the ups & downs he encountered in life. I highly recommend this tour. We were there when it opened & got right in. You can buy tickets online or at the museum.

          The Viator app was not working for this purchase and I was not able to pull up the 4 tickets I had purchased. I thus, had to buy 4 more tickets at the museum. I never had this happen before with Viator and ended up spending $100 extra. 😞
          NEVER USE VIATOR AGAIN.

          VIATOR took the payment but did not make the voucherS available - resulting in us having to pay a second time to enter.
          Buyer beware! You will order tickets, they take your $$ but you will NEVER receive the tickets.

          Hassling with Viator to receive the tickets I paid for & NEVER received while in Amsterdam. They ripped us off! Especially when they clearly stated our "booking request was declined by the operator" Then where is my refund? They claim we did receive the tickets which is a bold face lie! And refuse to issue a refund when the error was at Viators end.

          Loved seeing the house and paintings. Great demo of etching. Lots of narrow steep stairs (83 n 89 years) with elevator to go down. Definitely worth the time and $$. Had problems with getting the vouchers but the entrance clerks took care of us.

          I felt like I was taken back in time! It was so real and surreal all at the same time. The audio guide told a great story and the 2 demonstrations on how he created his paints and prints were fabulous. A truly memorable experience one of my favorite tours. Thank you

          Very nice and informative museum is a large house with all information you might like to know about his art and more Note :you can also can buy the tickets at the museum for less and faster access

          Much trouble getting the tickets! Supposed to be attached to a third email of repeat messages but never got a file that opened. On the phone with support for 20 mins at the museum before entry. Museum good, interesting... But be prepared for 5 flights of stairs & no where to sit if that's needed for anyone in your party.

          Learning about Rembrandt's life and his apparent love for the maids he employed was interesting. Definitely, do the audio tour, it's worth it!
