We took this tour on our first night in Athens and I would highly recommend on doing that, especially if it's your first time in Greece. It gives you an introduction to Greek food, customs, and what you like and might not like as much. Really useful for the rest of our vacation. Tiama, our guide, was amazing! She catered the tour to us, always asking us questions about what we wanted, liked, etc. Not only did we sample amazing food and wine, as we walked around Athens she was very informative about the area, history, etc. She helped us learn some basic words in Greek such as Please, Thank you, yes, no. It much more than just a food and wine tour!

Constantine was an excellent guide! She was kind, knowledgeable, friendly and easy to speak with. The tour she put together was perfect! We tasted olive oil, wines, cheese, meat, various food and it was all delectable, especially the “surprise.” This was a highlight of our holiday.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! One of the best things I’ve ever done on vacation. Our tour guide Eugenia was wonderful! On top of the food, wine, deserts, olive oil tastings and much more, Eugenia exposed us to Greek culture, history and traditions. Highly recommend!

Very enjoyable. Maria shared a lot of interesting information and took us to very well selected establishments for wine, olive oil and lots of food. Highly recommend this tour on first day of arrival. Good way to see the heart and people of Athens

The private Athens by Night Food Tour and Wine Tasting was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to a lovely wine bar for a wine tasting with charcuterie. Then we enjoyed street food. Afterward, we went for an enjoyable tour of beautiful potions of the city. We needed some exercise to be able to continue eating! We then had an olive oil experience followed by a delicious dinner at Ella’s (I recommend the Greek salad there). We finished the evening with yummy gelato. I only took a few pictures because we were busy enjoying the evening.

Maria was an excellent host who took us to some wonderful places. This tour was great value and we got to see some real local highlights. By the end of the night we were stuffed and could not fit another thing in, despite multiple attempts. I would suggest that you don't eat lunch before you go on this tour.

The guide was fantastic. Melpo was very informative and entertaining. The wine tasting and pitas were great as well as the olive tasting. The main meal at Ella’s at the end was the most disappointing. The quality of that food did not meet the standards set earlier in the tour.

This was a fantastic upscale food tour and wine tasting — Learning about Greek food and culture from Maia was very enlightening! Maria was an amazing tour guide and the places we visited were all “sit down” rather than standing outside nibbling food!
The olive oil tasting was a nice bonus, as well as the gelato!

We took this tour when we first arrived in Athens and it was fabulous. Eugenia was a knowledgeable guide and put us at ease right away. There were 4 of us that did the tour- my husband and I and two of our sons (ages 23,18) and we all enjoyed ourselves, so good for all ages. The food was all amazing- come on an empty stomach, you’ll need the room- and the area we walked around in was lively and energetic! I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this tour to anyone traveling to Athens!

Met with our guide at the designated meeting point, again sorry can't remember her name... enjoyed the experience but would make a few suggestions.
1st stop was for Soulvaki (Hoocut), we were given a glass of water, but would have liked to have had some kind of drink with this, even if the guide gave us the option to go and buy a drink ourselves.
Next stop - Wine Tasting OK
3rd stop - Main Course dinner, which we were given your local spirit, again would have probably have liked to have had a glass of wine or beer with the main course.
The local spirt is not everyones choice of drink with the main meal.
4th stop - Ice Cream OK
