Great Tour
Jason_M, Nov 2023
We had a great archaeologist guide who spoke excellent English. He was easy to hear and understand, especially with the microphone packs provided. The many stops during the ascent of the Acropolis were timed perfectly to make the ascent manageable for persons of all ages and abilities. We had a great time!
Great tour

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. We enjoyed both the Acropolis and museum tour. The museum tour focused on the highlights, but there was a lot more to see in the museum. We suggest to plan for some extra time after the tour to explore the rest of the museum on your own.
Your best way to really experience the Acropolis
Sean_T, Nov 2023
Our guide Margertia was very open and interactive with the group; easy to hear through the provided earphones. We felt that this kind of tour was the best way to really learn about the history of Athens and the Acropolis. The pace was good; the average fitness of our group was balanced; this is necessary since the tour involves a lot of walking, much of it up hill (both ways - in the snow! ok, just kidding). Note, you will be on your feet for essentially 4 hours. The autumn timing of our tour allowed for manageable crowds. There were enough opportunities provided to stop and experience the spaces and take pictures. A final stop at the Acropolis Museum was a highlight and added to our understanding of the period and art and construction.

Excellent tour. From booking (detailed information, including options), to checking in (recommend doing it in advance to get your listening devise adn tickets if applicable, then snack, have coffee on or buy water from an arrays of shops near by, before starting the tour). Our guide was knowledgeable, considerate and caring. While climbing to the top of Acropolis, she was stopping at regular intervals, trying to keep us in the shadow and even sitting down where possible during her informative talks, photo taking etc. (it was a hot day). Recommend without any reservations.
Good tour

Guide was knowledgeable and patient. We don’t have to weight in any lines for tickets. Glad we toured the museum too.

Acropolis
Kathleen_P, Oct 2023
Apollo was our tour guide and he was wonderful! His knowledge of the stories of Greek gods brought us a vivid picture of what life was like as an Athenian in BC. He was very knowledgeable!.

Acropolis comes alive!
jlbeyak, Oct 2023
The guide made the trip memorable due to her knowledge and skill of information exchange. Learning the history of the site made it come alive.
Interesting tour, but too sliw
Laura_M, Oct 2023
There were a lot of people on this tour, many very slow. We could have gotten the same tour in less than 2 hours without all the stops for water, bathrooms and rest.
Great guide
Dale_O, Oct 2023
Niobe was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. She made it a great experience! The Acropolis Museum was first-rate.
Acropolis climb
Judith_M, Oct 2023
A great experience! The meeting point was well organized. I thought I would be able to take an elevator to the top of the acropolis. When I realized that was not possible, I decided to start the tour and, if needed, abort, when I could not keep up. Our guide, Apollo, was excellent. The hike up was possible because we stopped often in shady areas. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. He watched over his group carefully, making sure no one was lost along the way! The whole experience was outstanding, including the tour of the museum.
Acropolis Tour
Sara_S, Oct 2023
Good cultural knowledge but maybe need to abbreviate some of the information. It went on too long and she “lost” some folks in the minutia.
A Must Take Tour
Gai_K, Oct 2023
It is so hard to say what was most memorable. Annie was so well informed, paced the climb to the Acropolis perfectly, was inclusive, funny, and energetic. All in all, she was an ideal guide. I really appreciated how much she knew about the Acropolis and Greek gods and the way that she taught us about them.
Fantastic morning tour
Sam_G, Oct 2023
Natasha was very knowledgeable and we really felt like we learned so much on this tour. She had an answer for every question and was entertaining too. The ascent to the top didn’t feel too hard going as she broke it up with different views along the way. Please take care and wear sensible shoes, we witnessed two falls as the stones underfoot are slippery with wear.
Wonderful learning Day
Andrew_J, Oct 2023
Tour guide was excellent. The walk to the top can be steep at times, but not too bad. My wife used a walking stick for extra stability on the marble and steps. Stops along the way to rest and take photos as the guide told us information. Once on top, amazing structures. The tour guide took photos of anyone that wanted with people, and we had time to rest. There is no shade up top other than in the shade of the structures. The walk down is easier, a different route. Headed over to the museum, which is an amazing place. Can be busy, but tour guide kept us all together and explained so much. There is some seating along the windows while the guide talked. This tour is fantastic and there is so much information learned. I did read people in the summer were very over heated and skipped the museum. Our day was hotter than normal, 92 degrees, and I can see if it was even warmer this could be a problem. Try to get the early tour.
