Overview

Make and take home a unique piece of Grecian pottery in this one-of-a-kind souvenir-making workshop. Learn all about ancient Greek art – sculptures, ceramics and more – and make a piece inspired by this rich artistic history with your own hands. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert potter or it’s only your first time; if you’re inexperienced, get personalized coaching from the artists leading your small group.

What's Included

  • A 2,5-hour pottery workshop in downtown Athens.

  • The participants do not have to be experienced in pottery as the workshop is suitable for beginners.
  • There will be an additional fee should you choose to receive the souvenir by post in your home country.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We had a fantastic experience in this pottery class! We were lucky enough that it was only the two of us for the entire class which meant we got one on one attention in creating our items. The teacher was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

This was my 11-year old's favorite activity during our trip to Greece. Our hosts were very friendly, walking us through the steps to create our pottery pieces. We are very excited to have these personal momentos from our holiday to enjoy for many years. The studio was not difficult to find - between two metro stops and then about a 10 minute walk from the metro station. Great communication with the workshop operators and would definitely recommend!

The ceramic artist was great! She gave us a piece of clay to work with and showed us the basics of what to do with it. After that she kind of just let us go and let us make whatever it was we wanted to make. I didn’t realize I chose a complicated piece but she helped me bring it to life.
If you like pottery, art and wonderful people, absolutely book this experience!!

I was bought this pottery experience for my 30th birthday. It was such a wonderful afternoon and exceeded my - already very excited - expectations! Antigone was my teacher and was so lovely, patient and kind. She very calmly and clearly explained each process and let me finish in my own time. I never once felt rushed and I loved spending the time evening out the lumps and bumps created by my clumsy hands. The music playing was great, very atmospheric and lent heavily on old classics in rock, blues and folk. I can't wait to pick up my "organic" creations. If you're at all interested in pottery, I can't recommend learning from these absolute masters. Definitely ask to see some of their work, they're truly incredible artists.

In den 2,5 Stunden lernten wir unter super freundlicher Anleitung zwei Arten des Töpfern kennen. Es entstanden zwei schöne Geschirrstücke, die wir sogar noch bemalten.
