    This tour is completely worth it, our guide Rachel was amazing! We got incredibly insightful commentary about Auckland, NZ Government, Agriculture, Maori, and so much more on the way up. The actual hobbiton tour was great, comp drink at green dragon, and really good food at the marquee. 10/10 would do ot again!

    The whole day was lovely, from our bus driver telling us facts and history of Auckland to the tour of Hobbiton to the lunch, to the stunning beauty and the super cool LOR movie setting. The weather was fabulous which made it even more enjoyable.

    Beautiful and picturesque set with attention to details! Amazing! A must see on your visit to New Zealand. Entering the home and seeing the household was like being tranported to another place. So unique and extremely detailed in creating the place.

    We had an amazing day. Hobbiton was so well set out and and the details of each home was very special. Lunch was fantastic in the marquee and very enjoyable. A drink in the Green Dragon where the staff were so friendly. This tour exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to everyone whether a Hobbit fan or not.

    Our tour guides both on the bus and at the film set were amazing!! The set itself was so magical, it was like I truly stepped into middle earth and got to live out my hobbit dreams!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who has seen or even hasn’t seen the film!

    It is a must see attraction for Lord of the Rings movies and series fans. Great experience and something you dont see every day. Excellend service and coordination of the whole tour and visit to Hobbiton.

    Bus driver Kenny was knowledgeable about Auckland and areas along the drive. Buffet food was wonderful !

    The entire tour was fabulous. The interior of the Hobbit hole was so much more than I could have imaged and totally unexpected. Our guide Tracey was excellent she had great stories and answered all questions. It wasn’t until the end that we learned we were her first solo tour. Never would have guessed. Great job Tracey!

    It was my best decision to choose the tour. The. weather was perfect, very sunny, the guide was so funny and had so many interesting personal stories that could help to build your full picture of New Zealand. Lunch was amazing: big choice of food at the buffet, wine, and many complimentary drinks. Since I travel solo, I met so many new people and never felt lonely. Thank you one more time! Best of luck!

    Meeting point instructions were clear and easy to follow. The coach was comfortable and Hobbiton exceeded expectations. The tour guide was patient and informative. We never felt rushed, she allowed plenty of time for everyone to get their photos. The meal was well organized and delicious, time allotted was adequate and again we didn’t feel rushed. Expensive tour but 100% worth every penny

    Great bus driver! Comfortable bus. Hobiton did not disappoint! Fantastic in every way. The rolling green hills full of white sheep were the perfect backdrop for the hobbit houses. Going inside a hobbit house was really special. The guide was fun. The meal was great and the beer apple cider topped of a wonderful day.

    We truly loved this tour! They made it very clear where to meet and what time, coach bus was very comfortable. We enjoyed our driver/tour guide for the ride. He was very informative. He also gave us very good instructions on what to expect when we got to the Hobbiton movie set, which made the tour very well timed! The tour of the set was also very informative, you have to be a fan of LOTR to be here anyways! :) We were not expecting a large lunch, but were surprised to find out it was a full on buffet, which you can go back a few times! Roast beef, roasted potatoes, salads etc. We were full! After the set tour, we got back on the bus and the driver dropped us to exactly where we first got on the bus. Overall, we consider this tour one of the best we have had.

    The Hobbit was a wonderful tour I would recommend it to anyone. Looking at the houses on the outside you wouldn’t think it was big on the inside. I was really surprised how big it was on the inside

    So glad we booked this tour! The scenery was beautiful and the guides provided interesting facts about how the movie was made that made it more interesting. The interior of the Hobbit Hole we toured was the best! Allowed imagining how well-to-do Hobbits might have lived. The lunch was delicious and much more than we expected. Highly recommend this tour.
