It was very surreal to be there. It’s been a dream to go there my sister and I so it was nice that we were finally able to do it together. We are big fans of the hobbit and Lord of the rings., highly recommend to see a trip to New Zealand is not complete until you see

The whole set-up is excellent. A 1st class operation. All of the employees are positive and helpful, that was impressive. Our tour guide Rob, made the tour. So many facts and details and his humor pushed the tour over the top

Great trip booked with viator through Auckland and Beyond. Our driver Warren was great and very knowledgeable pointing out things along the way and back. Hobbiton it self was well worth it. It's about an hour 1/2 walking town through the hills of Hobbiton! I would easily book this trip again.

The trip was amazing and very organised. My only disappointment was that we paid extra for a small group of no more than 11. Our transport bus had 18 people but our tour group was around 40, a full coach

Beautiful spot on the farm, with great construction to build a hobbit village. It has been a long time since I saw the movies, but the detail in reconstruction is remarkable. We had a perfect weather day to visit. Our site guide had 30 people to corral, and her delivery would have reached more people, if she found an elevated spot to turn to the group to present.

The tour was fantastic, the tour leader was great.
Hobitton was amazing, staff were very organized and very informative throughout the tour.

Easy. We used our own transport because we had another tour but this allowed us to see hobbiton with last minute tickets. Great option.

The set was fabulous but we couldn’t hear the guide due to the large number of people with us. Smaller groups or whisper headsets would have been helpful. Also might allow 15 minutes between tours so we aren’t on top of each other. At one point we could hear the guide behind us. The umbrellas also proved to distance us but not everyone prepared for the rain which was forecast.
