DO NOT PAY THE CHARGE ONLINE. this is a free walking tour and you will be expected to tip regardless (you will also be pressured to tip by the guide). The tour guides also cancel a tour if there’s not enough people - I booked for 10am and it was canceled so had to come back at 12. Tour is very general information - you could easily do an audio tour on your phone for better information.

Waste of Money due to incompetent management.

I showed up at the designated spot, waited for 30 minutes in the cold and none showed up for the tour. After that, I met a couple which told me that upon communication with the tour operator, the meeting spot had changed, but we received no email or message about it and no directions to catch the tour. The tour would have been great but incompetent management made it such a waste of time and money...

While the guide himself was extremely enthusiastic and engaging the moment we met him, we were told straight up although it was a free walking tour he would require 20 Euro from each of us UPFRONT to make it worthwhile. Needless to say half the group backed out of the FREE walking tour!!!

The tour was nice but the guide did not do a good enough job to retain her audience. We started with an extremely large group but ended with a very small group at the end. The material itself was interesting and informative.

An excellent tour. Phillipe was knowledgeable and engaging. He was more than happy to answer questions proving that he wasn’t merely sticking to a script. It was obvious that he knows Berlin, loves Berlin and enjoys sharing that with his tour guests. We took this tour on our first morning and are delighted that we did; it familiarised us not only with the main things to see but also little nuances that we otherwise may have missed and it determined, for us, those places we chose to to revisit.

Fantastic storyteller. Highly reconmended if you in Berlin. The route is nice for the kid as well. We get to take the metro as well which is nice, and a walk through the park within the tour was great for the kid. We cover most of the sight if you have a short time in Berlin.

The guide was very nice and she had a lot of information about every place we visited plus she was on site on time. We were a little late until everyone came but this time was compensated with extra time at the end of the trip. Actually you pay a little but you take more than you pay.

I did not take this tour as your tour guide could no be located. When he was found, he was upset and said we should look for another tour. He was incredibly rude! I would like my ninety back. Tour guide was a fellow with glasses, medium height, and a white umbrella.
