      Arrive 30 prior to departure. Free parking is available at our Retail Store in the Illima Court Shopping Center at 75-5629 Kuakini Hwy., Kailua Kona, HI, 96740. The Kona Explorer departs from the Kailua Kona Pier which is about a five minute walk from the Illima Court Shopping Center.

    It was low key fun. Boat was smaller and more intimate. We zoomed around the coast and the snorkeling spots we were taken to were off the beaten path. The water was very clear and the marine life was abundant.

    Great crew! Great boat, beautiful scenery, got close to some amazing sharks and turtles, and of course lots of tropical fish. We went to great spots, away from the throngs of other boats. Body Glove definitely the premium option for this experience.

    This was absolutely the best boat trip in Kona. There were only 4 guests so we had virtually a private expedition trip! Captain Erica and her crew Chris were outstanding - we would never have seen most of the aquatic wildlife without their superb lookout. Erica made sure we had the best opportunity to see everything. We had an emergency exit from the water whilst snorkelling as Eric’s had spotted a tiger shark cruising by - probably not a threat of any kind but best to play safe! On the return journey she spotted some hammerhead sharks and positioned the boat so we could get in the water and see them clearly - awesome! Chris made sure we always had enough drinks and the snacks were first class. This is the best boat and best captain in Kona (and probably Hawai’i!).

    The crew ( the 2 C’s) and Captain Elliot were absolutely top notch! They were friendly and attentive took extra time to show us wild life and coastline . Snorkeling was great, cove was clear easy to navigate. Boat was one the best on excursions running that day easy on and off, storage and rest room and comfortable cruise. Definitely 100 times worth the few extra dollars difference! Lunch and drinks provided as well! If I ever get back here these are the crew I’d bring my family and friends to! Thanks so much guys it was perfect!
