Host was nice. A lot of driving. The dinner place was okay. Walked through some tunnels. Got to see one turtle. Bakery was nice. Bus was too small. Overall excursion was too long...I was falling asleep.

We had a great experience on this trip, our guide Gary was friendly and knowledgeable, we got to see many sites that we could not have seen by ourselves like seeing the crater rim from two places. The lunch was simple sandwiches and dinner was a three course meal at this cozy restaurant, my only advice is dress up warm, we got soaked in the rain despite umbrella and was Cold after

Our family went on this tour (including our 5 yo and two grandparents) and loved every minute of it. Sam was our tour guide and was a wealth of information. Grant was a superb host, story teller, educator and driver! I was initially concerned about all the time spent on “a tour” but it really was perfectly timed, and we saw SO much! Our fellow travelers were delightful - one couple live about an hour from our home town - crazy small world! HIGHLY suggest this tour and your company! This is our first time exploring the Big Island. It was fun visiting the coffee plantation, the Thurston Lava Tube and Volcanoes National Park. The best part for me was that I didn’t have to drive and could enjoy the scenery. Thank you Sam for a great trip!

My granddaughters 9 and 10 loved this trip they did reports on this volcano and loved everything our guide had to say. Was a long day but really enjoyed it all from the coffee tour, black sand beaches, bakery shop and the volcano. Would highly recommend this trip. Our guide was awesome

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Seeing the cauldron in person was amazing. Nature is both beautiful and terrifying. Walking thru the lava tube was interesting- I wonder at how it was naturally round. The coffee farm was a wonderful addition as well as the amazing black sand beach w turtles taking a snooze.

Grant our guide/driver was outstanding! Very knowledgeable on the subject of plate tectonics, and volcanoes. The short stops and explanations was very nice and made the trip very enjoyable. The restaurant we had dinner at the end of tour had great tasting food, and the service and staff were great! Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Derick was an amazing guide! He told us so many great things about volcanos and was a great host. We loved the coffee farm tour and the stop for donuts, followed by a beautiful black sand beach break complete with sea turtles. The highlight was the awe inspiring views from top of the volcano. Definitely recommend for an easy way to cover a lot of the island in one day!
