In addition to the locations below: Charley's Thai Cuisine at Queens' Marketplace (69-201 Waikoloa Beach Dr, Waikoloa Village, HI 96738) Foodland Farms at The Shops at Mauna Lani ( 1330 Mauna Lani Dr, Waimea, HI 96743 ) The supplier will send you a confirmation email with the exact pickup location and time. Please call the supplier if you didn't receive an email.

What To Expect

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel or resort in Kona or Kohala Coast. If your hotel is not listed, you will be picked up at the nearest meeting point.

Begin your journey with a visit to Bay View Farm, a Kona Coffee Farm, where you'll learn about the coffee harvesting process while sampling Kona coffee and tea. Enjoy a picnic lunch with stunning views of Kealakekua Bay.

Next, savor the flavors of Hawaiian sweet bread and malasadas at Punalu'u Bake Shop before relaxing at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, known for its marine life, including Hawaii’s green sea turtles.

Then, head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where you'll witness volcanic eruptions, lava flow sites, and craters. Explore the Thurston Lava Tube, a 600-foot-long (183-meter) cave formed by ancient magma flows, before driving along Saddle Road to reach a secluded stargazing location to observe celestial objects

After an adventure-filled day, your tour concludes at your original departure point.

This was a memorable, amazing trip. My friend and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Aaron, was extremely knowledgeable about everything Hawaii! The food was pretty good too. Another note: stargazing on that mountain was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Even though it rained most of the day, never fear because stargazing is above the cloud bank! The provided jackets were a huge help too, as it’s pretty cold up there. Just don’t forget to bring a pair of warm pants to change into!

Wonderful Experience

My husband and I don't usually do tours. I am so glad we did. We had a wonderful day, and were able to see so many things. Aaron was a great guide. He made sure everyone was comfortable and we learned so much about each stop of the tour. He is a wealth of knowledge, and explains each subject so well. You can tell he loves showing guests his home. The stargazing at the end was beautiful. Thank you Aaron! Our day spent with you was a highlight of our time on the Big Island! Mahalo

The volcanos and driving through the chain road of volcanos! Our tour guide, Aaron was quite knowledgeable with regards to culture, history and language! He had a nice clear voice for all to hear and was sensitive to our needs as we are all senior age.

This tour is a total experience!. Dreu is a wealth of information, folklore,flora and stargazing and especially volcanoes The weather was unpredictable but we were lucky. Long day with sun,rain and cold but well worth it. Would go again with Dreu and Wasabi tours

Perfection! Far exceeded my hopes! Our guide Miexia was educational and humorous! The coffee plantation was lovely. Black sand beach gorgeous and the volcano and all the craters breathtaking. All the food was excellent and plenty of water and bathroom breaks. My sister has mobility issues and Miexia even helped with that. I hope he got $50 tip from each passenger because he deserves that and more! A must do in Kona! Mahalo!

It was really a fanatastic tour. We stayed in big island for 2 days. This trip was worth taking as it shows the beauty of the island in one day. We were not able to see the rim though as it was cloudy. But the guide reallt entertained us. Lots of information regarding the history of island. Narration was really nice. We enjoyed hearing it round the clock. We dont have to bothee to drive. Just sit and relax and enjoy the island’s beauty.

Trip was a great overview of the island. Timing at each location was just right, moving through the day, but not rushed. Good information throughout. Good food at the stops, and plenty of photo opportunities. Our guide brought a huge telescope, and did his best to dial in different constellations even with the partly cloudy conditions.

Excellent guide and I was impressed with his knowledge and how much we saw in just one day! The road at the beginning of the drive (before the first stop) was quite winding so I would recommend taking motion sickness meds ahead of time if prone to this but our guide was a smooth driver and the van had good air circulation so I actually felt much better than usual!

Dreu was an absolutely incredible tour guide, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was knowledgeable, passionate about Hawaiian. Culture and history, and absolutely painstakingly sure to honor Hawaiian heritage as we visited the volcanoes and stars. During our tour we encountered several tour guides from other operators, and their lack of respect (And knowledge) of the culture was evident. Dreu and Wasabi Tours absolutely deserve all the success and great ratings that comes their way!
