Overview

If you want to experience the multicolored underwater world close up but can’t or don’t want to Scuba dive, this aqua safari helmet dive is ideal for you. After an instructional safety briefing you’ll don a special helmet and spend thirty minutes walking on the Bora Bora lagoon floor with a guide. At a depth of around ten feet you’ll get great views of a coral garden and the tropical fish that live around it.
  • All necessary equipment and a briefing will be included
  • No diving or snorkeling experience is necessary
  • Enjoy Bora Bora's natural highlights while having fun
  • Your guide will take photos of you walking underwater

    We come pick you up by boat, either at your hotel if there is a pontoon accessible, or at the pier in Vaitape, in front of the Tourism Office.

    Cancellation Policy

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
    • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

    Amazing experience! Our guides were so kind and patient and helped us understand exactly what we needed to do, how we would be feeling and how to properly communicate once submerged. Getting in and out of the boat is very easy and your guide will help you descend and ascend. They took time to show us different sea life - anemones and such. The pictures speak for themselves … once you’re on the ocean floor you’re literally surrounded by fish. Beautiful and serene. This tour is well worth it. Highly recommend!!

    The captain and the diving instructor are both very professional. They gave us a fantastic underwater experience. Especially our underwater instructor, he took time to take pictures for everyone in the group. Excellent trip. I highly recommend it.

    I was nervous about doing this as the guys explained what to do, but once it started, it was a great experience! The guide took his time to give each person attention to make sure they are ok and while taking pictures. There were several fish and a sting ray.

    Most amazing experience ever! We saw many beautiful fishes around swimming and Sting Ray fish as well. Highly recommended for non-swimmers too. The crew is very friendly and helpful. They will help you throughout, making it a memorable activity for life!

    Must do in Bora Bora! Was such a unique experience and one to remember. My wife and I had the pleasure to dive under water and see all the fish and manta rays. Our guide even took some nice photos for us while we were underwater.

    The pick up from our hotels was incredibly organized. They set a boat to the dock of our hotel and it was right on time, down to the minute. Our captain was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. When we got to the spot for the dive, the entire team informed us our what to expect and really eased our anxiety. The dive was so fun. Lots fish and lots of great pictures. This is a good water activity for folks who can’t swim and/or don’t want to get their hair wet.

    The plethora of wildlife underwater needs to be seen to be believed. The corals, anemones, fish and stingrays around and above me felt like I was on some alien world.

    This excursion was arguably the most fun experience have ever done. The people in charge of this know what they are doing and are superb. Very accommodating to any language. The actual dive is super easy for anyone to do. All the fish are so beautiful and you even get the chance to hangout with a stingray. It takes about 2 hrs from the time they pick you up at your resort dock and when you get dropped back off. I can not say enough good things about this excursion. Highly recommend

    My son and I don't know how to swim, which gave us the opportunity to get in the water and gain direct contact with a variety of fish and Sting ray as well. The boat crew was very experienced and we had a wonderful underwater experience with their help in eliminating our nerves.

    This was an AMAZING trip. I recommend this trip to everyone visiting BB. The crew were the best around and explained everything. When my wife had a problem she wasn’t going to go back down. They helped her out and requested she give it another try. She gained their confidence in fixing the problem and down in the water she went. She said she is so glad she didn’t pack it in. It was wonderful. 5 stars is all you can rate but I’ll give it 10. Great job!! Will return

    We decided the underwater walk looked fun. It was fun! It's quite surprising how easy it is even though the helmet is heavy. No water comes in and we saw lots of fish and a ray too. If you don't intend to scuba dive then this is the next best thing. Would recommend.
