What To Expect

Start this New Hampshire White Mountains fall foliage day trip with an early morning pickup from your Boston hotel. Your drive takes you down the Kancamagus Highway, allowing for many scenic stops for photos along the route. Also, enjoy your guide’s live commentary as you drive, giving you insight into the area.

Your driver stops in New Hampshire’s North Conway for lunch (own expense). Get some free time to grab a bite before continuing your US fall foliage day trip. '

Next, your tour makes its way to the Omni Mount Washington Resort, which is a great viewing location for the autumn colors during this special seasonal time. Get time to take photos and then see Old Man on the Mountain cliff ledges before making the return trip back to Boston for drop-off.

This tour is conducted in the White Mountains. Regular, luxury restrooms are sometimes not available or easily accessible. If you cannot use a Mountain restroom (hole in the ground, toilet over it) it might be best to self-regulate fluid intakes. An absolutely excellent trip well put together and commentated upon by our guide, Matt. He took us to some hidden away places in the White Mountains and the Autumn colours were spectacular. Our coach party of 14 all gelled together well and we had a lot of fun along the way. We would definitely recommend you go on this trip.

Good trip. Driver Keith did a great job - recommend him when you book. One small negative - the tour bus was too small for the 12 hour over 400 mi round trip. Additionally, the available window space for viewing is somewhat limited.

Keith McDaniels is an extraordinary guide. He cared for us during the entire trip, from the start (when we were all super excited) to the end (when we were all super tired and sleepy on our way back, haha, except Keith, of course!). Although the day was rainy and foggy, we enjoyed the outing and had a great time. We all looked at the bright side! Our group was friendly and fun. This trip will inspire you to appreciate nature, engage with others socially, and look after our environment now more than ever! This was a great day - even better than I had hoped for. We were picked up right at our hotel and right on time! Keith was an excellent driver, and was so good at giving us local history tidbits and info. We made several stops, more than I had anticipated - we saw so much of the NH area, which is just beautiful. We highly recommend this trip - worth it!
