We had a wonderful time. The wines we tasted gave us a great introduction to the wine being produced in Hungary. We were very surprised at the quality of the wines! The instructor was very knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this tour to anyone that loves exploring wines from other regions.

I have heard from multiple people who attended this is the past that this is a great tasting. The wines and snacks were delicious. The reason for the lower rating is due to the person who ran our tasting. He did not seem to enjoy his job and complained on how many tastings he had to do that day. All the guests at our tasting were wonderful and we hit it off right away. Wish the person running the tasting would have been a bit warmer towards the group.

An all round very good evening. Excellent atmosphere in the pleasant basement room, good service and we were lucky to meet some lovely people who shared our table. The two individual taster plates of cheese and meats was good. We tasted six wines, plus a welcoming fizz and a lovely Tokaj to conclude.

We were part of a group of eight. We enjoyed interacting with the others, from the U.S., Australia and the U.K. Our host, from South Africa, kept the evening very light and open, informative but not overly burdensome with too many facts.

Christian had an excellent knowledge of Hungary and it’s wine tasting heritage. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting, especially as there was just the two of us partaking and so we had a very personalized experience and were able to ask lots of questions, which Christian willingly answered.

John (from Cleveland) was a terrific host! We learned so much about the various wine regions within Hungary. We tried so many types of wine including spirits. The cheese and meats were nicely paired. Nice group of people in our class - appropriately sized. Definitely would recommend!

A wonderful evening spent sipping wine and learning about wine history within Hungary. Not a typical tasting where you swirl wine around and look at its legs and try to guess what notes you are tasting, this was much more casual and a lot more fun. We were presented the various wines and provided some info and then given time to sip and snack on our charcuterie at our own pace while getting to know the other guest on the tour. We even stayed late and ordered a couple bottles for the table to share as we were all enjoying each others company. I also purchased two bottles to take home and wish they shipped to my current location as the wines were delicious, and i could've easily purchased 6+ bottles.

It was a great experience. Learned a lot about the regions and history in a beautiful cellar. The pours we're generous and the wine was really delicious - especially the whites (and I typically prefer red wines). It was with a small group and we all appreciated each other's company and hung out after.
