Excellent guide, Romina. Good teaching on culturally important facts. Good geography taught. Delightful cruise. Great market experience. Tiger Delta is a great place to visit. Very different from Buenos Aires.

El Tigre - beautiful

My father grew up rowing at The German Club and spending time with friends in El Tigre in 1940-1950. Returning with him and seeing the playground of his youth was amazing. Michaela, our guide, answered our multiple of questions with patience and genuine interest. She shared important aspects of Buenos Aires culture, landmarks and geography. The boat ride through the waters was a highlight. Our only suggestion is to travel on a more private lancha de madera. The ecological impact of the large motor boat and the wake it creates in the small waterways disturbed me.

Tigra delta tour

Unfortunately the tour got off to a slow start as the operator was over 30 minutes late when picking us up from our hotel. We then had to wait a further 15 minutes for late arrivals. Once on the tour the guide was very knowledgable and spoke well both in English and Spanish. The boat ride was pleasant also the trip to the artisan market. Although I did feel that due to our late start some areas of the trip were a bit rushed. We were the only English pair on this particular trip and, at times, were made to feel uncomfortable by some of the guides comments regarding the Argentinian/English relationship.

Enjoyable boat trip to the Delta

Really nice comfortable boat for our 2 hour trip. Weather was wet but we could still venture on deck to get a clearer view of the houses on the Delta. Enjoyed the visit around Tigre so the trip was an interesting addition to our holiday.

Great day on the river

We had a great time on the river learning about the people who make their lives in the delta. Nico is an engaging and knowledgeable guide who provided a great introduction to Tigre. The lunch was served at a local river club and was tasty with generous portions. I highly recommend this excursion.

Not recommended young families with kids

Our guide was distant and irritable when guests asked questions. She rushed everyone to finish eating. Little comprehension about needs of families with young kids. Driver provided car seats for kids but could not install them and was not willing to assist.

Sofia, who was our tour guide, she was the best! It was a nice tour over the Rio de la Plata. After the boat ride, we did a small walking tour and we had a few snacks. It was more than enough to quench our hunger. The empanadas were very full and good at the restaurant that she took us to. She gave us recommendations of things to do in the city as well as exchange money. We very much enjoyed our time with her and on this tour.

Don't go on a wet day

A Canadian traveller stepping in dogs mess and spreading it around the bus (gross). Comfortable seats on the catamaran. Only cash payments everywhere you go. We had terrible weather and it really did spoil the day.

Veronica is such an energized vibrant story teller and she was careful to ensure that all of us were satisfied at various junctures of this trip. She directed us to the front part of the boat for maximum viewing. She explained a lot of history of Argentina and the community that lives on this delta. We enjoyed our lunch and felt this trip was good value for our money.

Tigre Delta, a Must See Rain or Shine

We signed up for this tour and on the day we were going had the most insane rain storms in BUenos Aires. Many others cancelled their plans to join and so we had a small but brave group who decided to board the boat for the journey. We were SO GLAD we went. Even in the somewhat inclement weather the delta views were unique and beautiful, the sun peeked out and we had a great lunch and tour of the Tigre area, shopped at the rather quiet market and viewed the museum and sights along the Delta. We had a great day, something very different from the other walking tours and city sights. HIGHLY recommend and in good weather I am sure it is absolutely fantastic!

Fun way to spend a morning. Our tour guide Aime was wonderful. The boat tour was interesting and we loved seeing the delta. Signature tours was very accommodating, rescheduling us after it rained on our original day and we were not comfortable going on the boat in a storm.

A River cruise in the Tigre Delta is a different angle to Buenos Aires. The Tour is the standard (Very Good) we have come to expect from this operator and you can learn a little history of the Delta. The tour was made by our guide, Veronica, Hint, get her on your tour if you can. Lunch was good and there was a good atmosphere with other clients on the tour
