A nice change of pace experience from exploring the city of Buenos Aires. Horseback riding through the Pampas, BBQ meats of all sorts served outside with wine followed by music and dancing and a demonstration of the bond between a horse and handler.

Perfect day to soak up Argentine culture

The most memorable parts of the experience were the folklore music/dance and the indian whisper ceremony. The way the gaucho dominated the horse was one of the most amazing things and I was very moved by the connection between the horse and the gaucho.

A fantastic tour with Pablo an extremely knowledgeable guide. The Estancia was a beautiful setting and very relaxing. Food and wine were great and the music and short horse show gave an insight into the relationship the gaucho have with the animals.

Don’t pass up this exclusive private tour! Our guide Facounda made our trip with his knowledge, interesting stories, and perfect English. He was amazing. The tour included a museum:workshop, dancing, horse whisperer, horseback riding and a wonderful full Argentinian lunch with Malbec wine. The setting was peaceful and beautiful. We would give 6 stars if we could!

Our first stop was to visit a silver & goldsmith studio in San Antonio de Areco, that was located in a beautiful old mansion, that is currently a charming bed and breakfast. We had a great time at the estancia— riding horses, sharing a wonderful traditional outdoor Argentine feast of endless, perfectly grilled meats & chicken, with three different salads. With plenty of decent wine! We learned a gaucho-style folk dance to traditional music (that was performed live). We ended our afternoon with a ‘horse whispering’ gaucho working his magic on his very well-treated & trained horse. I highly recommend this outstanding outing. We had a perfect day in large part because our guide Facundo was superb— attentive, informative, enthusiastic and fun.

If you do nothing else in Bueno Aires, make certain you visit and enjoy an Estancia experience - and in particular El Ombu de Areco. It is a day out where you are in the care of hospitality experts - everything from the superb horsemanship and attentive gauchos at the farm thru the musicians and dancers providing light hearted entertainment to the barbeque feast served by alert and diligent staff - truly a day to remember fondly forever. . . all thanks to our wonderful guide Joel who ensured the day was without fault . . . worthy of a Six Star rating . . . . cheers.

This is a must do when you visit Buenos Aires! Ask for Mauricio. He is the best! It starts with a nice visit to the town of San Antonio de Areco, then you will visit the Estancia, where ypu will do a peaceful horse riding with the gaucho's. After that amazing parrillada Gaucho style (Be hungry-Lot of food! ). Then you will dance with a typical gauncho band. It's a beautiful incredible experience. Dr. G

We have spent more time sitting on the bus and eating at the table than visiting the estancia. The horse riding only lasted a few minutes walking in a paddock. Quite disapointing... The folkloring dances were fine.
