Absolutely worth it

We absolutely loved this tour and our tour guide, Danny, was excellent. Transportation to and from our resort was timely and convenient. We first stopped in the town of Todos Santos to walk around, explore, and sample local ice cream. We then proceeded to the hike which was fantastic. The uphill ascent did have some rocky terrain which was fun but not for visitors with physical limitations. Danny stopped us along the way to educate us about local plants, culture, folklore, and more. I felt we left this tour with a better sense of the history and culture of Cabo. The views from this hike were phenomenal and we even spotted whales and sea lions along the way. The hike downhill in the dark was also fun and less physically strenuous. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It is a great way to get in touch with nature in Cabo outside of the beaches and resorts. I enjoyed the hike and the adventure of the uphill ascent. My only recommendation is for the tour to incorporate food before or after the hike. We were picked up for around 2:30 pm and dropped back off at roughly 8:30 pm. We had a substantial lunch before so we were ok but ravenous by the time we got back to our resort. Loved this experience and would easily do it again.

I had been to Todos Santos before, but was interested in hearing more about the history and native cultures. Danny had a lot of information for us on our brief walk in town. The highlight for me was the sunset hike. Being a "mature" person, the uphill climb was a bit strenuous and I was a bit slower than the younger people. I was helped up the steeper rugged section near the top and didn't have any trouble. Danny pointed out a number of native plants and had information for us on its uses. We were lucky to see quite a bit of whale activity as we hiked up! The walk down after sunset was more gradual and head lamps were provided. We even stopped to lie down on a platform in a totally dark spot to look at the stars and Milky Way.
