This was the best!! I’m a country girl who doesn’t know how to swim. From being on the boat to literally going down under and seeing the reef and feeling the fish, the crew’s welcoming and positive energy made me feel so safe and comfortable the entire time. Their abundant knowledge and expertise helped too!! I 100% recommend this activity!!

Nothing was memorable. We were not allowed to do the one activity we wanted to do, because we were excluded for medical reasons. No where did we read that we would be excluded because of medical reasons. While we appreciate the safety concerns, had we been informed sooner, we would have made other arrangements for the day.

We appreciate your understanding of the safety concerns involved and regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Craig, at the dive shop and his entire 5 person crew did an awesome job. This dive was one of the best and memorable experiences for us. The photographer who also dived with us took some exceptional photos and videos of our Great Barrier Reef diving! Highly recommend this tour!

Must do for a quick day at the reef
Albert_M, Mar 2024
The seawalker experience was amazing. For those not great swimmers or divers you are guided by friendly staff to see fish, clam shell and anything else in the area. Green Island is a gem. Loved it. The rainforest walk is nice and snorkelling was great seeing sea turtles eating sea grass and many other fish and coral.
Highly recommend

How not to get your hair wet@
Gary_L, Dec 2023
We were quite anxious before we started. but had a clear instruction vid and a helpful lad who went down with us. Once the helmet is lowered on and hold the nostrils to equalised the pressure on the ears. you climb down the ladder to the sea bed and all the time with the scuba lad with you . And then we all held on to a rod thing , pics and vids taken of course. loads of fish swam around us. But they are fed from a squeezey thing and so they are completely lazy and getting a free nosh ! hilarious! Worth doing. you get a stck of the experience, 160 dollars, not too bad for us Brits, bt it is a one off, unless you are a scuba fanatic.
Loved snorkeling and the Seawalker
Jiyu_L, Dec 2023
Seawalker experience was amazing! I also experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I saw sea cucumbers, sea turtles, and all sorts of fish and coral. However Green Island itself is quite boring. The food options aren’t great and there are birds everywhere that try to steal your food. Not much to do besides snorkeling.
Great Day on Green Island
Renuka_M, Dec 2023
It was a great experience to walk on the guided ocean floor with experienced, safely conscious dive team. We saw many colorful fishes, anemones and even Nemo! Snorkeling was also good and my husband even saw jellyfish with stinger! Fortunately, the dive shop provided wet suits. Great day at Green Island all together!
Response from Host, Dec 2023
Thank you for taking the time to share you fantastic experience at Green Island. It's always a joy to explore the underwater world and discover the vibrant marine life, including the colorful fishes, anemones, and the excitement of finding Nemo!
Perfect Day
Clelia_P, Nov 2023
The staff was extremely friendly, nice and helpful. I was extremely lucky since I went during "low season" (end of November); it was just two of us for the seawalker and we could fully enjoy our time underwater. Moreover the weather and water clarity were perfect. The photographs and video they took were beautiful. The prices changed from what I read before: 30 dollars for a printed one or 100 dollars for all the material including photos, video and photos of the reef. It might seem a lot but I think its totally worth it. I also added last minute, directly at the shop, the Snorkeling tour experience, which I suggest immensely expecially if the weather is nice. It allows to explore freely for 45 min the reef near Green Island in a zone that would be impossible to reach by swimming from the coast (or too long and dangerous). Overall, highly recommended expecially in low-season.
Experience of a lifetime!
