    It was an alternative itinerary because of the cyclone impacts but nonetheless it was a great day trip to take. John our guide and driver was extremely informative and in addition to taking us to all the great places around Cairns and beyond, he also told us where to look out the bus when there was something of interest. We visited some great places including Kuranda Village and the Daintree River cruise to see crocodiles and other wildlife. Will definitely recommend to friends, and will come back in the future to see how these areas have recovered from the cyclone.

    No Cape trib due to Cyclone Jasper. Great trip, Roger was a fab guide, really dry sense of humour, professional & kept us on track! Highlights: the welcome ceremony & Thornton beach, & a privilege to see the rainforest & Daintree gorge. We saw crocs, bright blue butterflies, bush turkeys & the golden orb spiders!!

    Mossmann George was absolutely amazing. A pity we were not able to swim due to tree logging. The time was a bit short as well, I would have loved to do at least the short circuit walk. Due to the cyclone damage we couldn't go till Cape Tribulation but saw a beach where the rainforest meets the sea. Worth doing this trip for getting a good overview of the region.

    We were picked up at our hotel which was nice. Our tour guide was very good. He was from the area and shared his passion with us. Loved the music he played overhead. All of the stops were interesting and everything stayed on time. A good but long day.

    A long day but very enjoyable. Our guide, Oscar, was excellent. The right amount of time was allotted for everything. We were lucky enough to see three crocodiles and a rarely seen cassowary

    It was a great tour. The driver (Roger) was very knowledgeable. Mossman Gorge was fantastic well worth seeing. Daintree Hotel was great place for our lunch stop. The river cruise was great, lucky to see a couple of crocodiles. My only complaint would be that it is a long day. Maybe take out the ice cream stop and Thornton Beach. But it was still a great day.

    Fantastic tour with great storytelling

    This was a fantastic tour - even with some of the sights unavail due to Cyclone damage we still saw and experienced a lot, and I came away from it feeling not just like I enjoyed seeing pretty scenery but that I understood the Daintree Rainforest more deeply. Our guide Brandon was also a fantastic storyteller all day - I loved hearing all about Captain Cook, whom I'd never really thought about before but now find a fascinating historical figure. Brandon was able to seamlessly blend the story of Australia's founding through Captain Cook with the natural surroundings and features we explored, to bring everything to light in a truly fascinating way. Loved it!

    Great trip to the rainforest even in the rain

    Our guide Brendan kept us all engaged with his excellent story telling all throughout the trip. This is still a modified itinerary because of no access to Cape Tribulation and that area may not be be accessible for few more months. We visited Thorntons Beach visited which was equally beautiful. It was raining all day during our trip which actually kept us all cool and made us enjoy the trip even more than the sunny day per diacussion with others. River cruise guide was also engaging and friendly and ensured we saw some crocodiles and snakes which we heard is not always possible. We also stopped for a bit at Port Douglas and Palm Cove. Overall, great trip to the oldest rainforest.

    Great tour guide, great trip. Couldn't get to Cape Tribulation because of landslide but alternatives were excellent.

    Awesome and funny tour guide and great trip. The tour guide(I think his name was Carlos) was very funny and had a wide breadth of knowledge. His stories entertained the whole bus the whole way. I would definitely recommend visiting during the dry season (September to November) instead of the wet season (I went during the wet season). During the dry season the river floods less, and you can see more crocodiles on the river cruise, but we still saw four on our trip and it was a satisfying experience. Still, it was an excellent tour. A landslide blocked the road to Cape Tribulation, and the rain flooded the parking lot across the river (another reason to visit during the drier months), so we didn't get to see those, but as an alternative we got to see a whole field of wild wallabies and the Barron Falls, which was also great. I would recommend the salad for lunch if you want something healthier than burgers.

    Bad timing/weather

    Only 3 out of 5, as we could neither visit Cape Tribulation (due to the cyclone damages) nor cross the Daintree River (due to bad weather on that particular day). Thus, there was in fact only short time in the rainforest (at Mossman Gorge). The river cruise was shorter than expected, crocodile sightings of course a matter of luck. On the positive side, the tour guide was very knowledgable and committed.
