Overall a very enjoyable tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and accompanied us to every single point of interest and explained the Egyptian history and background of the magnificent Pyramids. I would definitely give it a 5 * rating.

An essential guide to a complex history

Rawan our guide and Hamada our driver were brilliant. We started at Saqqara, which made a lot more sense (from a historical perspective) than starting in Giza, and in many ways it is the more interesting site. We learned a lot and everything was done at our pace (we are 69 &70) and with great humour. Definitely recommended.

Both our guide and driver were excellent. Our guide Tonsi went out of his way to accommodate all our needs and requests. He made sure we didn’t miss a thing. He is very knowledgeable and personable. You are in good hands with him! Our driver Ahmed was equally personable and did everything possible to align with my mobility issues. It was a fabulous day and definitely a highlight for us.

Be-very careful with your money and surrounding

This tour was memorable because we have been pushed by our tour operator to pay "TIPSI" to his hidden agents who suddenly come in front of us, sometime to take pictures or sometime to purchase few things or on 1 instance a shop owner who sells spices. These people knows where to take their guests and pushed them to take services from those agents you like it or not. I am still in shock and don't know if i should directly blame such agents as over all these people are suffering with poverty and instability in their country. If tourist like us shows our softer side then we get conned but if we show our straight face then we become rude and we get to hear statements in their arabic slang which only they can understand just because we walk away and says NO to their services. (highly in-hospitable). I had plans and may be i will carry-on with those plans to visit Luxor & Aswan sometime later this year but i will be more vigilant and carful with my money.

I strongly recommend booking the Pyramids with Emo Tours. They were right on time in my hotel lobby and we visited all the sites described on the tour. It’s worth to mention that bottled water was offer during all the activities. We really enjoyed our time with the tour guide, Mr Osama, he was really nice explaining all the details on the archeological sites. He also helped us taking the best photographies (great photographer). In addition, the food included on “Valley of the Kings” restaurant was great. Through the tour we visited a bunch of stores: souvenirs, papyrus, rugs and perfume. I’ll recommend taking it slowly and bargain every price.

Great experience! We were only two and they accommodated us very nicely. The tours were really interesting, the food was amazing, we were warned about tourist traps and we could also skips unnecessary stops. It’s really worth going around with these kind of guides, it makes a world of a difference.

The tour was properly paced, starting with Memphis then Saqqara then Giza. Marwa (our guide) was excellent. She provided good context and history on all our stops. I appreciated her ability to manage vendors, locals and other tourists. She is also very witty and funny. She made sure we understood the terms of our original tour, and gave complete information in case we wanted to add to our itinerary.

Great tour, ending with the Giza pyramid and the Great Sphinx. The additional access to the Giza pyramid is not for people who are not able to climb inclined stairs or afraid of very tight spaces. There will be spots where you are ducking your head for long tunnels. There is no ventilation, so it is hot. Overall, the tour guide was very professional and friendly. Would recommend the tour company.

It's good to see everything quickly

It's a way to see several things in a single day. But what they offer you is to go quickly to each place to take the typical photos. If what you are looking for is to have your time to contemplate the places, this tour is not suitable. Our guide was "gandalla", he was nice and sneaked us into all the places, but he also sold us much more expensively to go to the views of the pyramid, which according to him could only be reached by camel or camel cart; since we told him to walk and he told us that there were scorpions, which is obviously a lie. So I would recommend the tour, if you have few days and want to visit several things.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Mohamed who was very kind to our small children. He was professional and catered to the needs we had. We wanted to add a camel ride and lunch and he did these things and had great contacts for where to go. His contact for the camel ride were great and took wonderful photos for us we will always treasure. We needed a driver for the next day, and he also was able to arrange a great driver for that day. We had air conditioning in both vans with professional drivers.

Mohammad was the best tour guide we could've asked for. He was on time, attentive to our needs, and provided detailed explanations for all the attractions. We never felt rushed and made our first trip to visit the pyramids one that we will never forget. If I could give more than 5 starts, I would. If you're going to visit the pyramids, Mohammed as your guide is the way to go!

We had a great experience. Our guide and driver were very welcoming and professional. The only thing I didn't like was the implicit pressure to buy local products. In general, there was a lot of insistence to stop at papyrus shop, cotton shops etc.

Guide was very knowledgeable but the Giza Pyramids seemed quite rushed - like they didn't want to be there... Driver was too fast - I couldn't enjoy the scenery. They also wanted to take me to their friends shops between sights, which limited the time at the Pyramids..
