The tour was scammy. First, the tour which includes pickup time and drop off time ended up being over 12 hours!!! No wifi on bus, even though it is wifi capable. Other tour buses in parking lot had free wifi so you can connect to one of those. Jimmy, our tour guide, was not upfront with added fees. He tried to sell their drinks package and warning us that buying drinks at each site would be crazy expensive. He even tried to sell bug spray and stated his bug spray is more effective than the spray at the store, even though it's the exact same bottle! And it turns out, you don't even need bug spray ..the winds from ocean kept bugs away anyway. If you want to see some Mayan ruins, he tried to convince us to buy a bike rental saying it's a 5 mile round trip hike. Of course, if you bought his drink package, bike rental was included. No drink package, you are literally on your own as Jimmy would not help you rent a bike. And you almost have to rent a bike, because you do not have enough time to see the ruins if you choose to walk. He also did not tell us that swimming in the cenote costs extra since there is a life jacket rental charge. The lunch buffet was poor. The food has been left out for way too long and options are quite limited. Ever heard of food safety? And again, drinks are extra unless you pay for his drinks package. Even water is not included. And to top it all off, he insisted that we all tip them, even singling out people who from came from Europe since he noted that Europeans usually don't tip. How scammy. There are better tour operators out there that go to the same sites. Do NOT go on this tour and beware of Jimmy. You have been warned.

This tour was a disaster from the start. The bus would not pick us up from our hotel and we had to walk. They told us the bus would not fit on the street which is strange because we saw large buses going by our hotel all day long. Our tour guide smelled like alcohol at 9 am. She also plopped herself down at the bar at the Cenote so that will give you a clue of the lack of professionalism of this tour. The bus was dirty and gross. The bathroom didn’t work. By the end of the tour the bus smelled like a bathroom. We had to endure two hours of a strong bathroom smell. They tried to upsell us on everything. Bug spray, that’ll be another $9. Drinks on the bus another $20. Upgrade to drinks because Tulum is so hot. Water at Tulum is expensive. No mention how you can’t bring water in. We were rushed through Tulum with a guide who spoke very little English. The tour was so fast, there was no time for photographs. It was not enjoyable in the slightest. At the end of the day, we stopped in the dark to walk through a Playa del Carmen. There was no reason for this stop. More time at Tulum, Coba, or the Cenote would have been preferable. Every person on the bus was exhausted and wanted to get to our hotel. Our drop off was away from our hotel at 9 o’clock at night which did not feel safe in the slightest. At the very least they should have walked us to our hotel as we weren’t completely sure where we were after a grueling 14 hour day. Bicycle riding at Cobá was nice but you can do that with any tour. In total, we spent 14 hours on this tour and I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company.
