    Very bad attitude
    Ke_Z, Apr 2024
Very sticky bus, lunch was free, but you need to pay even water. Took super long to pick up people, only spent 1 hour denote, 2 hour chichin itza, 25min the city

    Take the public bus instead
    Kristen_J, Jan 2024
Both guides were great. But the trip took 14 hours and we got back so late we could barely get dinner. The experience felt very long, long, unnecessary waits to get lunch so that we would buy more, long waits to check in in the morning etc. They told us we owed 38$ USD a person (which was accurate) but wouldn't accept USD and charged us an exchange of 45$ if we paid in Mex pesos or another upcharge if we used a credit card. Would definitely recommend just taking the public bus instead of a tour. Much cheaper, less waiting and the buses run really efficiently, are safe and incredibly comfortable.

Thank you for your comments, unfortunately the payments on credit card can only be made in Mexican pesos and the exchange rate can vary depending on the bank.
Value for money, Chichen itzá a must see...
    Cindy_B, Dec 2023
The most memorable part of the trip was Cenote Sagrado (stay was too short) and Chichen itzá. Definitely a must for any visitor to the area.

Everything was great. But I think the tour guide Francisco talked too much for Chichén Itzá Because we didn’t have a lot of time to do our own thing seeing everything at the site. Prepare for possible rain. Bring an extra change of clothes and towels for the Cenote. Bring snacks and extra lunch because they give you a small plate at the “buffet” and you only can go once. And it’s a LONGG bus ride. We started at 8 and got back at 7-8pm. The tour guide talks too much and we spend more time listening than seeing what we came to see.

    Never Again

I read many reviews before going on this tour and I have to agree with the TWO biggest things that I didn't like about the trip: it was extremely long and it did sorta feel like tourist traps. Tour supposedly started around 7:30am but wasn't picked up until 8:15am. Then we stopped at several other hotels to pick up more people; then taken to a mall area where everybody exited the bus to go pay an additional $60 plus for taxes for this trip. Then shortly after, we were herded back on different buses to begin the trip; which was a little after 12noon and returned to the hotel around 9pm just way too long. In addition, the Cenote was interesting but too short, but plenty of people trying to sell you things. Every place you are being bombarded with BUY BUY BUY - while riding the bus you are told stories about the Mayans history, but it's nothing but a setup for the tourists traps.

    Great trip to Chichen Itza!
    lynnchin7, Jun 2023
We had a great trip to Chichen Itza! But I would suggest bringing a hat and umbrella as it gets very hot! Also the cenote is amazing! It’s one of the most beautiful cenotes I’ve been to. I would suggest skipping the town if you can because it’s a short stop and pretty tiring by the end of the day of a 12 hour trip.

This was a wonderful tour!! We did so much and the guides were excellent! Obviously the highlight was Chichen Itza but we also got to meet a shaman, swim in a cenote, and visit a colonial city. I highly recommend it!! Tip: BRING LOTS OF PESOS!!!

    Tough but great experience

Tough but great trip. You definitely should bring pesos with you, otherwise are the exchange rates ridiculous. Bring sufficient water and sun protection.

This is definitely a trip worth taking! My boyfriend and I had a great time and our tour guide was very informative. Everyone took very good care of us and made sure there weren't any confusions through out the day!
