What To Expect

Begin your tour at the V&A Waterfront helipad right in central Cape Town. Climb into a helicopter and kick off the adventure with a complete circle around the city’s most recognizable landmark — Table Mountain. Continue over the city to see Cape Town Stadium, one of the hosts of the 2010 World Cup, and down along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Pass Signal Hill and fly over Camps Bay and Clifton Beach, each with their luxury homes. See the Twelve Apostles mountains from an impressive new angle as you head for Karbonkelberg Mountain.

Soar over historic Hout Bay and then cross the Cape Peninsula to move from one ocean to the other. See if you can tell where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean offshore near False Bay. Watch as the terrain below you changes from sandy beaches to rolling hills to rugged cliffs. Fly over Muizenberg Beach and keep your eye out for shadows in the water — they might just be great white sharks.

Head back toward Cape Town on the other side of Table Mountain for a different view of both the mountain and the landscape around it. Pass over the pretty vineyards of the Constantia Valley before landing once again at the V&A Waterfront helipad.

The company and employees are professional and friendly. However, the helicopter that took us was tiny. At first the machine wasn't starting, when we got on, the helicopter was shaking with the propellers and the wind. We felt unsafe and asked to return early

Cape Town Helicopters part of the Cape Town Experiences take safety of our guests and crew as first priority thus I can ensure you that there are nothing wrong with the Robinson R44 that you flew in. The "shaking" happens when the main rotor goes from standing still to flight idle. You flew with our Deputy Chief Pilot that reported that half-way in your scenic flight you asked to return. The conditions on the day was beautiful with a few small turbulence bumps. You are more than welcome to reschedule a sharing flight on one of our bigger helicopters with other guests.

Very well managed by a very professional operating team. Pick up service needed to be arranged in the waterfront office 30 minutes in advance and worked out perfectly. Awesome experience which I can just highly recommend.

Beautiful bumpy ride

The weather/wind didnt help, so we couldnt do Cape point but we had an awesome ride, with a cool pilot. It was so cool to see all the place you normaly visit by car. I can recommend this to everybody, value for money !!!!

Expensive but very good

The communication was very good, we were advised the day before that our flight may be delayed a bit, and they informed us when they were ready to go, only about a 30 minute delay. It is quite weather dependent so plan for the start of your stay in Cape Town. Even if you don't book in advance there are LOTS of outlets selling these trips on behalf of the company at the V&A waterfront. The flight itself was amazing, excellent views and an excellent pilot.

Its no two oceans, just a tour around the city Captain said that in order to see two oceans we have to fly 1 hr east on the small plane , so we paid 250$ pp just to see two oceans ( we didn’t see) we could pay 130$ pp and to go around the city ( samy as we did with this tour) it’s ripped off and not honest advertising

Allow me clarify, the advertised "Two Oceans Scenic Flight" is indeed correct as your fly south along the Atlantic Ocean and return north bound along the Indian Ocean. I trust this will correct your views of this experience.
