Pickup is available from most addresses within Cape Town city, Cape Town International Airport and Stellenbosch town centre. Drop off after the tour usually to the same location originally collected from.

What To Expect

Meet a guide at your Cape Town hotel, then travel to the Cape Whale Coast in an air-conditioned minivan with a private driver. On the morning drive, and throughout the day, enjoy great views of the coast and mountains, with a foreground of rolling vineyards.

The first stop is Creation Wines, to sample the vineyards best wines paired with chocolates—if desired, you can add a food pairing of small, tapas-style plates at your own expense. At this stop, and throughout the day, take advantage of the private, flexible tour to tailor the day to your preferences, with time to fully explore the things that interest you most.

Continue to Hermanus, a whale-watching spot with scenic Cliffside pathways and views of the water. At Hermanus, you have the option to take a whale-watching cruise for a closer look at the magnificent marine mammals (cruise own expense).

Pause for lunch (own expense), then begin the trip back towards Cape Town, with a stop at Stony Point Penguin Colony, one of the world’s largest breeding colonies of African penguins. This full-day tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
