Overview

Lion’s Head offers glorious 360-degree views across Cape Town, particularly at sunrise and sunset, but with steep terrain, getting down in the dark can be challenging without a guide and headlamp. This intimate small-group tour provides both guide and light, plus your choice of 2-way transfers, drop-off only, or no transfers at all.

Hiking Lion's Head with Patrick for sunrise was super great. Recommended to everyone that is minimally fit. Also recommended sunrise as it seems that sunset gets quite more crowded

We experienced the sunset hike with Patrick! And it was amazing! I told him I would consider this more of rock climbing than hiking lol but Patrick was great! He gave enough breaks and never made us feel rushed or unsafe. Unfortunately the weather was not great but we enjoyed it nonetheless and on the hike down we were able to see the sun peak through the clouds and rain. Booking was seamless. I booked it that morning at 6 am. And he arrived for our pick up right on time. I would highly recommend!

Super great hike and I can only recommend this experience. You have a great, unique view over Cape town the entire hike and the sunset is fantastic. We also had a great and helpful guide in Patrick, who has so much knowledge about Cape Town that we learnt a lot. The difficulty of the hike is OK - not easy and not difficult, but OK.

Every cloud has a silver lining... what a memorable and unique experience. Mother Nature had something else in mind for the planned sunset hike, she dealt out every type of weather imaginable one moment to the next. Guide was brilliant and informative. When the skies cleared the sunset was breathtaking !

Great Guide - Hotel Pick-up - Good Rates Fantastic hike up Lions Head. This independent guide offers expert hiking knowledge and advice in a very friendly manner. We booked this trip over several others as it included hotel pick-up and return, and was cheaper than some others advertised. Patrick was excellent, chatting and answering questions along the hike. He share his passion and love of the area and hiking, helping us to maximize our experience. I would recommend this trip… and booking here… to anyone thinking of this experience.
