Beautiful Morocco 🇲🇦

We had the most wonder time in Morocco! Now that we’re home we just want to go back. This tour was fantastic for our family. Our guide was kind, helpful, well informed, well organized and fun to spend the days with. We were absolutely confident in his driving and navigating and didn’t have one thing to worry about. He took care of everything including our heavy bags. He was a hundred and ten percent dependable. The van we travelled in was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We missed him terribly when he dropped us off because we had enjoyed our time with him so much. Our accommodations with enchanting. We ate beautiful fresh food the entire trip and never lacked for anything. Now that we have been to Morocco, we can’t wait to go back!

Itinerary to a T! Best private experience ever.

We were initially coordinating with Med and then **blessed** to be assigned Khalil as our driver at first then guide/companion/main man at the end of the trip :) The thing with multi-day tours such as this is first and foremost: safety, and I am grateful that Khalil is a driver first, then guide and buddy after. It's such a comfortable ride for the two of us, we rode a Japanese camel called Toyota Land Cruiser Prado ;) and the off-road desert sandy hikes were just taken in stride. Pick up was always on time, (even minutes earlier) so we always have free time even if the itinerary provided to us appear to be jam-packed. We always hit all the checklist of our itinerary, which I really appreciate how Med have prepared, regardless of multiple revisions and requests made. For our itinerary, (we greatly appreciate the extra requests BTW and understand that this will cost extra), I need to take a moment to discuss Med's level of considerate thought, attention to detail and his perceptive ability to make them be granted in the most optimal way where in the end his suggested options always lead to the best choice. Because of it we are happy with our days, if ever there is a need to veer from the itinerary it was always discussed, and sometimes new suggestions come up that always end up being the highlight of the experience! Med drafted the itinerary but it was Khalil who executed it and this tandem was the best because our the last day was SO FUN!! Yes we paid for the tour but the experience we got was more than what we paid for!! I'm very happy everything the tour posted is what you will get. Not only that but we were also able to do/felt the following: - Felt safe and felt like we are getting the best bang for our buck - Be taken to the most scenic view of Ait Ben Haddou - Saw an authentic belly dancer in one of the restaurants in Casablanca - Tried other local Moroccan experience :) - Our IG was on fire because of Khalil's exquisite editing skills - Had photos taken that we are going to blow up on print back home because the desert shots were just striking. That's Khalil's forte. If you want the Berber Saharan experience go with Khalil. He's the desert man. Ladies, if you want nice edits on your social media I recommend you request for Khalil; Gentlemen - if you want "experience" might as well go with Khalil he's what we had he hooked up. I am sure there are other drivers out there from MoroccoDesertTrips.net who are just as competent like Khalil, I am only reviewing from my experience and what I can say is it was the best private tour I have had. EVER.

We had the pleasure to tour with Abraham for 10 days. He was EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING, kind, humble, honest and very very hospitable. He was always on time, patient, and never rushed us to actually explore and take in all the beauties of Morocco. He took us to the most amazing places to see and always had water available for us all the time. The vehicle was always clean and impecable too! We would absolutely do the tour all over again with Abraham. We have already recommended him to our friends because he TRULY made the experience IMPECABLE. Our Best Trip Ever!

Our trip to Morocco was originally planned with a group tour company, and was cancelled. In hindsight I am glad it was cancelled, as we had an incredible adventure on our 10 day tour with Desert Trips. Prior to the trip I corresponded with Med several times, and always received a prompt and thorough answer. I felt confident in my expectations based on the correspondence. Before our arrival in Morocco, we were contacted by our driver/guide Khalil. Both in person, and via txt, Khalil was prompt, courteous, and friendly. We always knew what to expect, and when and where we would be picked up from the riad. We stayed in traditional riads every night except our one night of luxury camping in the desert. Each riad was different, but all had charm and great staff to take care of you. Don’t hesitate to have the company set up you accommodations for you. They have experience with the riad operators and picked wonderful places for us to stay. Our night in the luxury camp was special. It is a not to be missed experience to visit the desert and spend a night there. The accommodations are very nice. Comfortable beds, private bathroom, great meals, and wonderful hosts. Morocco is a diverse country. It is truly awe inspiring to have 10 days to see it. Each city or region is different, but you come away with a great experience each day. Much of the great experience was enhanced by our driver/guide Khalil. Khalil is a pleasure to be around. He is a very good driver, knowledgeable about Morocco, and most of all a caring, friendly, outgoing source of information. We truly loved every minute of our trip. We made many memories and made a new friend. Khalil was more than a driver to us, especially when we arrived to the desert portion of the trip. We learned so much about Morocco, and especially the Berber culture, and foods.

This tour covers must-to-see places in Morocco. Ask for Khalil for the best experience you could imagine. It was 10 days trip but you will experience new things in each day. Khalil is from the desert and he will show you what local people do in their lives. For the first day and the morning of the second day , we enjoyed the Hassan II mosque by the sea and the local restaurant nearby the hotel. The second day, we enjoyed the great view in Rabat on the way to Chefchaouen, the blue city. The Riad Khalil has picked up for us was always great. They welcomed us with traditional Moroccan mint tea and the rooms were pretty and spacious. The third day we headed to Fez visiting Volubilis and Maknes on the way. Khalil made sure that we visited the main spots we should cover to learn culture and history of Morocco. In Fez, we had a great local guide and he took us to some shops in the souk. You might want to explore other shops if you are looking for cheap stuff as the guide will show you the shops with authentic and high quality products. In Sahara desert, we experienced so many unforgettable things, such as riding dromedaries, watching sunset, enjoying a surprise cake for an American couple, singing and playing the drums around the fire, walking at night to gaze stars, watching the beautiful sunset in the morning, riding to one of the highest dunes, having shisha in the middle of the desert, patting baby desert foxes, tasting camel milk and etc… so many things to do and everything is a full of new experience. Driving hours are long as we moved from north to south, south to west, but with Khalil’s story which is full of adventures, you will enjoy the drive. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to visit Khalil’s house in Marrakech which is not included in the itinerary and be able to enjoy home-made tajin. All the hotels, Riads and restaurant Khalil has arranged for us were perfect and I would definitely go back to the same Riad when I visit Morocco again. It says private tour in the website but we weee with an American couple, which made our experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable, we have become one family. Of course, Khalil made sure if it was ok with us to be with the other group in advance. The tour was well organized, very considerate and full of new experiences. I will recommend this tour to all my friends. Thank you Khalil again for great experiences. It’s been one of the best tour in my entire life.

Wonderful, sensational trip through Morocco with Said

My husband and me had an incredibly great time in Morocco. This tour is the best way to get an impression of this beautiful country. We can only report the very best about this 10 day tour. Here are just a few examples of an incredibly good service from Desert Trips and our guide Said, who was only available for the two of us the whole time: - The trip through Morocco is very well planned! The daily stages sometimes take longer, sometimes shorter, but never too long. Since you have a driver, you can relax under the ride and enjoy the scenery. - We thankfully let the company "Desert Trips" book accommodation for us. One Riad was more beautiful than the other. The location of the hotels was always great. - Our driver Said did a great job. He is a very safe driver, even in the big, busy cities like Fez or Marrakech he coped calmly and confidently with the traffic (luckily we didn't have to drive there ourselves, that would have been a real challenge!!) Said was always friendly, polite, courteous and very patient with me when he needed to speak to me twice due to language (my English is not very good). Said was ALWAYS very punctual. The service from this company is sensational. When I got a little nauseous on the winding ride through the Rif mountains, he immediately had pills for me to take against the travel sickness. He answered all questions and gave us a lot more information about his country and the Moroccan people. - In the cities of Fez and Marrakech and in Volubilis, a local guide was booked for us through Desert Trips, and I can only say the best about them. In Volubilis, a German-speaking guide was specially selected for us. All local guides were technically very good and extremely friendly. I can only describe the service provided by the company "Desert Trips" and our driver as sensational! Everything went great from the beginning to the end of the trip, at the end our guide even took us to the airport building in Casablanca. MORE SERVICE IS NOT POSSIBLE!! I give this tour of Morocco 10 out of 5 stars. Many thanks to Said and the entire Desert Trips team!

Morocco at its best

My daughter Sarah and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I'f you're wanting to experience all of what Morocco has to offer, look no further as this tour has it all! From the moment Khalil our driver/ guide met us in Marrakech to the very end, he proved to be knowledgeable, fun, professional and experienced. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better trip! Some of the drives are very long but never boring as Khalil always had a story to tell or information to give and of course as many photo stops as we wanted. All of the Riads and hotels were to the standard as expected. The meals provided were all spot on. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the real Morocco.

Morocco with Hssaine -- phenomenal

Hssaine was great. Very accommodating, very informative and very fluent. This was our first multi-day private tour and we highly recommend it. Hssaine had to deal with all the complications such as tolls, traffic and speed traps. We were both able to sightsee instead of one of us driving. The whole trip was seamless, even with some slight changes in the itinerary (as is always likely to happen!). Our favorite was the glamping in the Sahara and the boy with the baby camel -- plus the unique solar tower. So much that was wonderful, much of which we wouldn't have seen if we were traveling by ourselves. And so much amazing history to learn about. I also recommend that visitors get small denominations of money and bring toilet paper.

Amazing tour of Morocco

We had an unbelievable 10 day tour with Hssein and Desert Trips! They really went above and beyond to craft the perfect Morocco itinerary, allowing you to see the whole country in a short period and immerse yourself in the beauty of Moroccan landscapes, architecture, history, and culture. Having the freedom to choose your own hotels if you like is also incredible as there were many specific hotels we’d had recommended to us by friends. Our driver Hssein especially was such a wonderful guide and so friendly and accommodating throughout the tour, making sure that we were happy the entire time and getting to see everything we wanted, including extra stops not on the itinerary! We feel like we quickly became best friends with him! What’s also amazing about this tour is the diversity of scenery — in 10 days you will move effortlessly between seaside cities, mountain towns, desert camps, and historical capitals of the country. We can’t thank Desert Trips enough and will recommend them and this tour to all our friends!

Unbelievable Experience with Omar !!

Me and my husband with our 2 kids ages 9 and 8 booked this tour with absolutely no ideas what to expect other than the itinerary posted and some good reviews that we read. We travelled in March 2022 from Canada (sorry for the delay in posting our experience Omar). We only have one thing to say - YOU MUST BOOK IT WITH THEM ! A complete non-bias is what Omar showed us as he took us around the whole of Morocco. Our children were the safest with him, I could trust him with our kids any moment and any time. He was so fond of them and took care of them like his own. Not only we did the tour with him, we met his family, went to his house and now he will always be remembered as our family to us. We had the best time ever ! Omar left no leaf unturned. I would utter from my mouth and he would have it done for me before I knew it. Ah ! Along with his amazing knowledge of Morocco, he is also an unbelievable photographer ! all our memories that we look back at now and again were created by him. There were hardly any moments he did not capture. He was passionate, thorough, knowledgeable, locally very well versed, non-biased, educated and an amazing human being all in one. Now where do you have that experience ever ! We could not have learnt about the amazing history of Morocco and experience it the way we did without him. We highly recommend him and his company !
