The Death and Depravity Tour starts at the intersection of Vendue Range and Concord Streets. When you arrive, you'll see a large fountain. That is where your guide will be meeting you and the other parties. If you need directions, or get lost, you have a map in your Ticket Confirmation email.

Take a ghost tour!

We took this tour and found our guide Emery to be a great storyteller in learning about the past darker history of Charleston. I wish it was a little more gruesome but I’m macabre. Would highly recommend and thank Emery for her knowledge and humor.

There were some very interesting stories. The particular toiu guide we hd was a little too snarky for my taste, and I am snark friendly most of the time. Note, this tour does not go by the Unitarian graveyard.

I love a good crime show on TV so I thought this tour would be perfect for me. It is definitely not for anyone younger than 16 (per the tour company). While the description says that you start and end at the same point, we did not. We ended about 4 blocks away from where we started. While the female serial killer story was great, the rest of the tour was so so.

Lance does a great job. He tells stories well, has a lot of information, and is funny and fun too. We really enjoyed the tour.

The guide, I believe, was purposely silly and kitschy. But...the description did not really match the tour. Web were obviously not expecting to see ghosts, but its was supposed to be spooky with stories about ghosts, brothels, cemeteries and it was just meh and corny.

Seth was guide and it was so informative, easy to listen to and was eager to answer any questions. It wasn’t a scary tour, more of a history tour which I loved. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys learning the history of Charleston.

Lance was great ..the stories are interesting..and it was a great walk. We did not see any of the ghosts of story, but as I am a slow Walker being in the back , l was able to catch ghosts of meals past, perhaps it was Mr Beans?

Ok so the photo - on the gravestone in the left there is a girl in a red dress!!!!!! Aaron did an AMAZING job and I would go on any tour he is offering. One of the coolest things we did in Charleston and then to leave with that photo!!!

Seth did a great job with the tour. We had a good time and would recommend the tour. Going forward, I will avoid booking ANYTHING with Viator. The send multiple emails every day. I probably had almost a half dozen emails just asking for a review. This doesn’t count all of the”great offers” I received after booking.

I and my husband had a great time on the tour even though it was raining not the whole time but most of it and it was 90 degrees yes at 9 at night lol but Lance was a awesome tour guide learned some xrated happenings that went down on that cobblestone road !! Great tour

Not the scary one

I went with 2 work friends. We picked the “adult rated tour” because we wanted a scarier experience. That isn’t what we got. It was more jokes than anything. There were maybe 3 ghosts we were told about but didn’t get to go in any graveyards or buildings.

Misleading

Our tour guide Micheal was great. He did an excellent job. What I don’t understand is why you’re advertising a whole part of the tour that never happened. We were supposed to go to the “provost dungeon”. Never once was even mentioned. There was pictures of it and everything on this advertisement. Not cool.
