If you dare, explore Charleston as a paranormal investigator and use the real tools of the trade including a thermal imaging camera. Your guide will provide tutorials on how to use each device, as well as share local ghost stories. Plus, you’ll receive access to all of the data recorded during your investigation.

Nick was a fantastic guide. We didn’t get a great amount of data but it was a fun experience! I loved being able to use the equipment. This is definitely not your ordinary ghost tour.

Nick was a great guide and host! He taught us about the equipment he uses and shared some great history and stories of the area. We had a group of 10 (8 of us were friends), and we were all assigned jobs (equipment) to help hunt ghosts and spirits. Some nights tours may be more active than others and Nick is very transparent with that. It was very cool and interesting to see and experience his interactions as well as ours in the group and how those interactions with his devices pertain to the stories and history. The tour is family friendly. We had 4 young teenagers in the group, and we had a great time. Thank you Nick!

We enjoyed Nick’s enthusiasm and expertise. Each of us got to try out a different piece of equipment and that was engaging and interactive. We explored multiple outdoor locations and felt much more educated about spirits and the art of “ghost hunting”. A unique experience to be sure, and well worth the extra money to be in a small group and for the more personal attention. So cool!

The beginning was great.

The beginning was great. We were all into it and excited to get started. Nick explained all of the equipment and was very knowledgeable. Basically, I would have given this tour 5 stars if it had been 90 min long instead of 3+ hours. It was just too long. And we had 4 teenagers with us that lost their attention spans and I felt like Nick got frustrated with their giggling. There was also no sitting so be prepared to be on your feet the whole time (and go light on fluids… no bathroom breaks). Having said that, I am glad we did it. It’s a very unique tour and Nick’s recitation of the history of Charleston was engaging and spot on.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. This experience, as mentioned in the description, is two to two and a half hours long. The nearly three hour investigation you experienced was due to the amount of disruptions we had throughout the evening. During this walking experience, there are several restrooms that could've been utilized along our route, and aren't always going to be pointed out unless a guest ghost hunter has expressed the need for a restroom. As for the giggling, it wasn't so much a frustration as it was a distraction towards someone who takes learning about paranormal activity very seriously and attempts to teach guest ghost hunters that they are not on a Hollywood TV show or on YouTube where every bump in the night is a ghost. I am also glad you and your party experienced this as well. By the end of our investigation, it seemed that the teens in your party enjoyed the experience and discovered that their favorite paranormal show hosts are meant for entertainment. It is one thing to watch something "scary" and then another to attempt to seek out true answers. The Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience is not timed since paranormal activity at each location cannot be guaranteed and it also gives the guest ghost hunter the time to explore their assigned device and conclude how it interacts with the other devices. I make a point at the beginning of our investigation that this is #notaghosttour. There are plenty of 90 minute ghost tours in haunted cities and expanding on that idea was the original design for this Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and allowing me to explain that this Interactive Experience is fun, informative and taken very seriously by Stories in the Cemetery. Your concerns will be taken into account for future guest ghost hunters.

Nick was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable about the ghost we were talking to. Our group had a few children and he kept them in mind when telling stories, so they wouldn’t be bored. The kids and I had a great time and look forward to doing this again. Next time we are back in town.

Even tho we didn’t see any ghosts we had a good time. Nick is an awesome guide who is very knowledgeable about the places we visited. It’s not the usual ghost tour which makes it more fun to be a participant. Well worth the price, and especially if you prefer smaller groups.

Amazing Ghost Hunt

Great history of the area, Nick clearly knows the area and the spirits very well. Our group was only 7 people plus Nick, and it made for a very quiet, intimate experience. Sharing the evidence that we were catching real time was amazing, and hearing the full stories after we discussed what we found was really cool. Nick’s equipment is state of the art. Using the FLIR thermal imager was awesome and seeing the results from the other audio and video sensors and EMF meter was very cool. Over ten hours of raw foootage from our hunt was posted within hours of the trip finishing, and we all get to go through it to assess it for any anomalies or evidence. Next time we are in town we are absolutely going hunting with Nick again! This is not a ghost tour. This is a legitimate ghost hunt.

The whole experience was great! It's a unique experience where you get to walk around some of the older parts of the city but have fun with it. Nick (tour guide) personalized the ghost hunting for us, had a lot of information about the history and potential ghosts, and was very fun. You don't have to believe in ghosts for this but come with an open mind. If you buy into the experience it will be an amazing time!

Enjoyed meeting different people from all over with the same interests. Having or own personal experience with the spirits, this trip has only confirmed that the afterlife exist and wish to share there stories with us so we have a better understanding of watch actually took place. Enjoyed learning about the different devices and what there was used for all while learning about the history from NICK who seem to had build connections and respect from the spirit at each location for him and his group. Gabby is a spirit magnet and throughly enjoyed her birthday trip!!

What a fun experience! We really had no idea what to expect, probably just another touristy type gimmick. But this experience is far from it. Nick is absolutely awesome, and funny in a quirky way that doesn’t feel forced or rehearsed. He really got to know all of us, making sure to remember names, likes and dislikes etc. The sensory deprivation part, was probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced. No matter which side of the investigation you were on for this experiment, it was fascinating. I’m a “been there, done that” kind of person. So it’s really odd that I had the feeling of wanting to come back the next night to see what else we could piece together. Highly recommend this to anyone even slightly interested in the paranormal. Don’t think about. Just go. Keep an open mind. Dress for the elements, and wear comfy shoes, lots of walking and standing. Thanks to Nick for an outstanding experience!

As for lots of walking, the distance of the route isn't lengthy, but more or less the time we spend together since we go well over the standard 90 minute ghost "tour". Nick is a well educated fellow with a great knowledge of the paranormal and the equipment used to access paranormal activities. Has a great sense of humor and knowledge of the Charleston history to bring a great evening of paranormal searching into view. The tour went around 2.5 hours and was the best tour I have ever been on. Thanks Nick.
