You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The husky encounter was quite fun, and really touching. The story of those dogs was interesting and the presenter was emotional. We could really feel his love for the dogs. We love them too.
A fun and informative experience at an affordable price. An all day adventure.

Hagglund ride, Huskies and Penguins were great with the other attractions average quality. Need for more attractions for better value. Food and drinks were ordinary.

Great place worth a visit

The international antarctic centre was such a lovely place to visit. Although it was filled with school kids, we thoroughly enjoyed all activities - the snow storm, the Hägglund Field Trip, the penguins and of course petting the Huskies! It would be nice if we can be provided with a map and the times for certain activities so that we can better organise our time at the centre.

The most memorial part would have to be the Hagglund experience, it was great fun going through the obstacle course. But all in all the whole experience here was amazing!

Fantastic experience all well set out, felt like I really was in antartica. Huskies were a fantastic addition and informative team of people telling us about everything. 4D movie is a must see.

We're glad you enjoyed the Huggland Ride and 4D theater Gavin. The Magic Memories photography company are currently offering free digital photos which is very exciting. Guests also have the option to purchase printed versions in a photo book to take home with them, if they prefer. :)

I really enjoyed all the experiences but especially the Hagglund. My son got to sit next to the driver and she was great at explaining the journey. I would highly recommend.

A once in a lifetime experience

The Haggleud trip was amazing being in amongst the huskies was great. Could of been more cuddles The snow dome was a bit disappointing, thought a few snow flurries would of been more effective. It felt like walking around the bank corner while windy down in Invercargill

Really good experience, the people were very nice to us and the place is very interesting and informative. I learnt a lot about the Antarctic and also I had a nice time with the Huskies :)
Fun but not for everyone

The storm simulator, 4D movie and penguin feeding was super cool. I don't know if the education center plus that was worth the price. The snow mobile ride was TERRIBLE!! No one warned us they just said it was 10 minutes long and kind of bumpy but my 8 year old daughter cried the entire time and they can't see you in the back so we couldn't even stop it. Terrible and a little traumatic.

Seeing the penguins, especially, feed time.Huskies were a great hit.Also children enjoyed there ride on Hagglund,and 4D movie. All in all an amazing experience.

The Hagglund ride was great, both grandkids aged 5 and 6 loved it. We went in school holidays and there appeared to be a large group of children who tended to take over things to sit on which was disappointing, very large ques for the 4d theatre, we cued 3 times but the kids got bored of waiting so missed this attraction. Other than that they loved they day, thankyou
