What To Expect

Meet your climate-controlled coach at a central location in Playa Mia, then climb aboard for the 20-minute drive to your destination.

Disembark at Hacienda Antigua for a tequila tasting and distillery tour. Find out about the extraction process, how to identify the top-shelf versions from the swill and how to properly taste the signature Mexican alcohol.

Back on board the bus, take off on a scenic drive bound for the western side of Cozumel. This side of the island is uninhabited and offers unobstructed ocean views; stop at El Mirador lookout point, perfect for tropical photo ops.

Upon the completion of your island circuit, end up at Playa Mia Grand Beach and Water Park, where you'll spend 2 hours enjoying the features and amenities. Take the kids to the pirate-themed water park, check out the underwater Mayan city or simply relax on a provided lounge chair. Sip unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and dig in to a buffet at La Velaria Restaurant.

After your time at Playa Mia, continue to Discover Mexico Park for a 45-minute visit. Watch a video collage presentation and explore the Museum of Popular Art, then marvel at replicas of Aztec and Mayan pyramids.

At the conclusion of your 5-hour tour, enjoy drop-off back at your original departure point.

This tour was amazing. There was some confusion at first as the tour operator location was different from what was on our voucher, but it was quickly resolved. We were the only couple on this day and had a private tour experience. Our guide Raul was most courteous and very knowledgeable. Awesome.

Our tour guide, Thomas, was excellent and catered to our 91 yr old mother. But, when we originally booked, we should have been reminded that Mexico is 1 hour behind that of the ship, which meant that we waited over an hour extra to start the tour. The Discover mexico Park was not available, which was to be a highlight for all of us on the tour. It was difficult to find the office from the ship to connect with the tour guides.

It was really excellent. Oscar, our guide was an inexhaustible well of information during our tour of Cozumel. The tour began on time, and continued, all day, in an orderly, informative way. When my wife and I left Cozumel, in the evening, we felt that we had been given a very good idea of the life of Cozumel, it's past, and what lies ahead for it in the future. I especially enjoyed Playa Mia Resort. So much that when I got inside the resort, I went and bought a swimsuit right away. I took one look at the ocean and surf and dashed for the nearest store selling trunks! I had forgotten what salt water felt, and tasted like. The coastal part of the tour made me want to come back there soon. The tequila tour was real fun. I left there with a warm buzz on, from the tasting time. I think my wife and I will be returning for a longer stay in the near future! My parting comment is " Come to Cozumel, and savor the island's many scents and tastes! ".

The tour of the ruins were the best. Not much of an island tour since we only past by where there was nothing only the ocean and a few vendors. Very disappointed with the Playa Mia Beach. The water was a bit murky and if you were not careful you would fall since the shoreline looks like it was man-made. Only wet my feet that was it.

El recorrido no es muy significativo y se hace bastante rapido. En Cozumel definitivamente los planes por hacer son todos relacionados con el mar. Sin embargo, debo decir que Dante y Enrique guia y conductor fueron muy amables y compensaron lo poco que ves en el tour. Increibles personas sin duda alguna!
