We had a great trip with Felipe . We were able to choose where we went and Felipe was up front about the entrance fees for the various parks and locations . The trip was very relaxed and we were able to determine the timings. Felipe was very knowledgable and full of facts. The owner very kindly went out of his way to return our sunglasses the following day. The jeep was also modern and comfortable. Fantastic trip and way to see the island.

Alda was great very Informative and very knowledgeable about the island , we went to the ruins which was great and then on to a beach club recommended by Alda, Alda then helped me snorkel for the 1st time which was amazing so thank you for a brilliant day would highly recommend

As a family of four, we opted for a private tour to allow our children, ages 5 and 11, to enjoy age appropriate excursions during a cruise stop in Cozumel. We selected Visit Cozumel based on reviews, so it’s only fair that we return the favor! The communication leading up to the excursion was exceptional and gave us confidence in the choice we’d made. Ricky, our guide for the day, met us at the designated spot, a clear landmark that we had no trouble finding. He was kind and knowledgable, engaging with both the kids and the adults throughout the day. Once we’d agreed on an itinerary, Ricky handled all the arrangements to streamline entrances and take care of any on-site needs. He was a trusted advisor and liaison at both Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park and the Mayan Cacao Company. Between stops, he shared local history and information to enhance the experience. Water was available and we had the ability to leave personal belongings behind with Pablo when not needed - clear advantages over using a taxi. We would 100% book a second excursion with Ricky and Visit Cozumel. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Had a perfect half day with our guide Charly. We visited San Gervasio where our guide hooked us up for a private tour of the Mayan ruins that was informational and fun. Stopped by a Tequila testing, enjoyed some time at the bee sanctuary, and explored the east coast of the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had an amazing time! Highly recommend this for a more personalized experience than a group tour.

Great for families and adults alike

Our guide was fantastic. He quickly built us an itinerary that was fantastic and meet all our goals. We had two small children with us and he built a plan that included their goals along with our adult plans. Overall, we saw way more than our planned excursion with our cruise ship on the prior stop. I highly recommend them.

Expensive Transportation

We took this tour as a way to explore the island and get insight on what to do from a local guide. Traveling with 6 people (including 2 kids 4/7). We didn't know where to start. We met the guide - asked what he thought about us checking out the ruins. Said it would be ok for the kids, on the way he gave us a quick run down of the island history which was the "tour". Ruins tour was good, with entrance and a private guide it was about $90 for our group. Worth checking out if you're into that. You use a tour guide that is certified upon entering the ruins if you choose to. Afterwards we had inquired on trying to find a resturant and maybe a beach for lunch and our kids to play at. I had suggested one that was reccomended to me and the guide shot it down saying it was super expensive. Long story short we ended up at Palm Beach per his reccomendation, felt like something we were scammed into doing. $350 later for 4 plates of tacos, 2 drinks, and a bucket of beer I feel like the guide was getting a kickback and we were just along for the ride. Would have been cheaper to just pay a taxi and a similar experience in our opinion.

Relaxing and low crowds tour

Our tour was the perfect fit while traveling with a one-year-old, 4-year-old, and grandma. Juan and our driver Mario were fantastic- they managed to keep us out of the crowds despite 5 ships docking that day. They were flexible and gave a fantastic overview of the island and culture. The company was in communication with us from the day of booking until we met Juan at the port. I would highly recommend a tour with them if you want to skip the beach clubs!

We especially enjoyed Playa del sur and a great seaside lunch with our guide. It was obvious that our guide loved his island, was very knowledgeable and helped us avoid the tourist traps.

Anna was very patient with us as we didn’t have a real plan for the day—we suggested shopping, food and the beach. She delivered on all of the above and even took the time to share some history about the island with us while she was at it. We loved Anna!

Enrique was awesome! We’ve been to Cozumel before and wanted to see more of the island at a more relaxed pace. Communication before the trip was wonderful, even with a change in port. Enrique was punctual l, even early, well spoken and made sure my 80 year old mother was taken care of. We took a picturesque ride while local areas were pointed out and history was shared. We visited Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, The Mojito Factory Beach Bar, El Mirador, and a had a tequila tour and tasting. Everything was perfect and everyone had an enjoyable time! I would definitely recommend this tour and would not hesitate to do it again. Enrique was fabulous.

We got to see all of Cozomel, Ricky was a wonderful guide, answered all our questions. We had a mix up on arrival time but they did wait for us. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The price was a lot cheaper then going through the cruise 🛳 ships.
