Fun trip but could have had more time for snorkeling. It seemed to take a long time to get to snorkel site. Didn’t see much but sea was rough that day. Staff were late in getting party started on way back for those who like to dance. Too little time at island. Burger however was awesome. Overall trip was a lot of fun. Great value. Nice catamaran ride. Would do it again.

Five stars! We had a wonderful afternoon on the large shaded catamaran. An attentive and safety conscious crew, swimming over the reef, spotting a starfish and a ray on the sandbar, an hour on the private beach enjoying the large burger and then dancing all the way back to the ferry dock with the crew leading. Simply magical.

What a fun and amazing trip! The snorkeling was great, but the sand bar and beach were the winners. And the staff! They made sure everyone had a good time the whole way through, super friendly and attentive. This was so worth it. The size of the catamaran made it so we didn’t feel crowded, the captain and crew were so nice, the drinks were cold and the music was fantastic. We stopped at 3 spots, got to see some turtles, lots of fish, the rays at the sand bar, and the water park was so much fun! We even saw some coatimundis when we docked to eat at the water park area. They were adorable.

An "OK" day on the waters of Cozumel

We are frequent visitors to Cozumel (full trip or cruise) and a catamaran snorkel is almost always on our agenda. In many ways, this was a fun excursion as we love the boat experience, and the sights, music, and food/drinks were on par with the other snorkel excursions we've done (in Cozumel or other destinations). I will not call out the next part as negative, as I'm sure some folks will appreciate this feedback as positive for them...it just was a huge downer for us personally. When starting the excursion on the Fury 5 (they've got multiple boats), the first 15-20 minutes or so are the first set of instructions...delivered in a very loud and harsh tone (which seemed intentional to scare you into following them) - very demanding rules we've not encountered on any other snorkel tour, comments trying to scare us into not losing the snorkel gear because it would be the crew would need to pay for it, and we must have been told at least 10 times of different ways to be disciplined (being removed from the water, being forbidden to leave the boat, etc.). In short...because it was so forceful in its delivery, it set the tone of being scolded in the 3rd grade from the beginning, and then we got another 5 minutes of the same tone when we got to the first snorkel area. As I said, some may like the very specific rules and over the top safety approach...if so, this is your tour. The one actual negative I'll say is that we've been to El Cielo MANY times and each time we've had a good amount of area to explore and seen lots of giant starfish and too many to count rays. This trip was very different in that we had very specific instructions of the limited area we could be in (directly in front of the boat and nowhere else) and as a result saw one tiny starfish and zero rays. I know there's no guarantee, but this was a very different experience. I'll close with the positives that the boat is very comfortable, the food at the beach club was very good, and the attention of the crew in serving drinks and making sure everyone was taken care of as we sailed was also very good.

Time on the beach at the beach club was the best part. It was only an hour though, and that included eating. Would have preferred less snorkeling and more relaxing on the beach or sailing.
