FOR GUESTS STAYING IN A HOTEL: ●Guests staying in the Northern hotel zone or downtown of Cozumel, the meeting point is Royal Village ●Guests staying in the Southern hotel zone of Cozumel, transfer service does not apply, as Playa Mia is close to these hotels. In this case, the meeting point is Playa Mia location ●  If you arrive at the SSA International Pier or Puerta Maya Pier: Your Meeting Point is the Wildtours Retail Booth at the Royal Village Shopping Center. To get there simply exit the pier, reach the outside gate and walk across the street by the pedestrian yellow stripes crossing zone, to the Royal Village Shopping Center. The booth is a few feet from the end of the pedestrian yellow stripes on the other side of the street. Our representative will be waiting for you in uniform. ●  If you arrive at the Punta Langosta Pier: Walk down the pier. At the very end of the pier you will see the escalators to exit the terminal. Before taking the escalators you will see a Playa Mia – Wild Tours Retail Booth.

The Twin Twister waterslides are sure to satisfy an appetite for adrenaline with 200-foot-long (60-meter-long) twists and turns.

IMPORTANT: Playa Mia is committed to protecting the ocean environment and Cozumel’s vast coral reefs; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. All guests must wipe-off any sun lotion residues or shower BEFORE entering either the ocean or Playa Mia’s pools. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation! We were there on a windy day so the inflatables were closed. This is what we were most looking forward to, so it was disappointing. We made the best of it and the kids played in the pool, kiddie area, and the other 2 slides. Beach was not that nice.

Not enough directional signage. Customer service was minimal. Drink options not clearly visible. No umbrellas or shade direct sunlight. Spa vendors came around too often. Would not book again.

It was windy and were not allowed to use various embarcation we paid for neither the umbrella. The water structure are for 8 years old minimum, my 5 years old fell in a hole and was very hard to reach. Kids water park and slides were fine.

We had a great time at Playa Mia. We were unlucky to dock in Cozumel during some high wind and overcast conditions so the water inflatables were not available during our trip. We decided to go anyway and so glad we did! It was very relaxing and the staff for transportation and at Playa Mia were very friendly and attentive. It cleared up towards the end of our visit and we were able to go swim in the sea for a little bit which was definitely worth it.

Cheap beach but close to port & easily accessible

Had a cruise stop in Cozumel & wanted a beach stop with a large group on small budget. Beach has everything you need- food, bathrooms, drinks, beach chairs & umbrellas. Floating beach is very small and long line to get on. Add made it look like large beach inflatables but not the case- small. At 2:00 they said umbrellas needed to come down as wind too strong. The sun was beating down and there was no wind. In fact, the wind had been much stronger earlier in the day. It was clearly a tactic to have people start clearing out even though the beach was open until 5. Many people, including ourselves, argued against this- we had a set of grandparents, the family behind us a child in a wheelchair. People all around were requesting money back from umbrella rental. It really was crazy as when collecting money and putting up umbrellas it really had been so windy. People were really unhappy. It's really close to the port 15 minutes and super easy to get a taxi to and from. Average rate was about $5 per person each way.

Beach was clean. I wish they raked near the water. Kids had a great time on the inflatables and riding the water trikes. Food was good and plentiful. Drinks were great and great service by Luis and Paco. Slides were fast!

I hate to leave a negative review but I don’t want anyone to feel blindsided like we did. The water in this beach is rough and murky. Full of seaweed, derby and broken shells. Your feet hurt just from walking in it. The waves are choppy and hard to swim in. The food was bland. Not at all worth the price you pay. I did however like the kids water play park. Looked fun if our kids were with us. That being said I would come again. Overall not a fun experience. We left after just a couple hours even though we’re paid for a whole day.

Really nice fun day - I think the best value is to buy just the tickets and buy your own food and transportation

We had a really fun day at Playa Mia. We did not purchase the All-You-Can-Eat/Drink package and were glad that we hadn't. The food available for à la carte purchase was really good (if you like mexican) and reasonable for resort prices - 6 of us had a good filling lunch for about $100. We purchased the admission + transfer package. It would have actually been cheaper with a group of 6 to just buy the tickets and get a cab on your own - there are tons of them at the cruise terminals and also at Playa Mia. For smaller groups this would be less true as I believe the cab fare rack rate was $44 each way for up to 6 people as of March 2024. Playa Mia itself was a great time - definitely snorkel out beyond the big inflatable play area. Water bikes and kayaks were fun and the beach was clean.

Lovely beach, great food and strong drinks! Definitely worth it and so much fun. We just did the Beach Break package and ordered food and drinks from the menu. The snorkeling was amazing with under water “ruins” and tons of sea life seen. We would definitely go back! The staff were very helpful and not pushy.

Terrible experience with Viator

We get off the Cruise and arrived Playa at 9:30. After show Entrance my booking information, she said my booking was cancelled, she cannot let us in. I contact Viator by WhatsApp immediately, but the customer service didn’t solve this problem. I also show the lady at the entrance my conversation between Viator, my credit Card transaction, nothing works. I do not recommend anyone purchase this product with Viator. You can just buy ticket at the entrance. Super bad experience, specially with my kid also waiting for nothing . We are very disappointed with Viator, this is the worse experience. I want the upload my conversation with Viator customer support, unfortunately cannot find the upload file choice.

The splash pad was great! The lifeguard was very attentive, when my grandson fell and scraped his chin, the lifeguard came over and cleaned it up, put a bandaid on it and even gave my daughter some extra. Food was ok, just cold and not a large selection. The wait staff was super attentive to our drink needs!

I was very disappointed in the service as well as the food was horrible I visited you all one year prior and it was perfect but this year was a great disappointment I spent too much money for the way your set up is now no menues the food was cold and sorry I will not recommend your resort to any of my clients and for the reference I am a travel agent .You charged me $387.00 for me and 5 grandkids I also purchased 2 cabanas which one I set up myself then the help comes with the pillow I truly was very disappointed to have just been there 1 year ago .Don’t like your changes at all
