What To Expect

Explore the beautiful Front Range that stretches along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains on this half-day mountain biking adventure. Head west toward the mountains to arrive at a trail that your guide has chosen based on your experience and ability, from beginner to intermediate. Choose from a morning or afternoon departure to suit your schedule.

After being fitted for a bike and helmet, hop aboard a provided high-quality mountain bike to begin exploring the extensive network of trails that wind through open alpine meadows and dense pine forests. Depending on your experience, you might ride part of the famous Colorado Trail that stretches for 486 miles (782 km) through the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy the fresh air, Colorado sunshine, and glorious scenery as you zip up and down the scenic trails.

Take a break and refuel with a complementary sports drink and energy bar.

Great trails to ride. A bit of climbing, fast flowing sections and some snow. Vic was a great trail guide and gave us locations for great pictures.

It was quite exciting!! The views were spectacular. The ride was a very good workout and well worth the money. I was a little hesitant with some of the paths, but Gary, our guide, eased all my concerns. He is a very good instructor. His knowledge of the history of the area added to the enjoyment of the tour. He show me how to maneuver the roots, rocks and water boards. Going down a water board was fun. I felt like I was on Xtreme Sports. I would definitely do this tour again.

We chose the 'beginner' mountain biking guided tour. Our guide took us to the Flying J Ranch outside of Golden, CO. He was very thorough and patient with teaching us how to maneuver the turns and obstacles. If you are interested in more of a mountain biking course, or lessons, this is a great tour. They will also customize if you're more experienced.
