Waste of time and money

Most of the attractions were closed. The only good attraction was the Dam but they take you around midday which the hottest part of the day. I stopped the tour midway and asked the driver to return back. That’s how miserable the whole trip was

Dear Supplier partner Only heritage was was closed for renovation our respected guest Spend 1 hours only in breakfast they was not ready to pay for hatta kayaking or Honey bee ticksts and they were avoiding all tickets attraction they was looking just free things to do and unfortunately in hatta all the attractions are paid if the guest is not doing any attractions offcourse we can’t force them for nay thing please as it’s not our guide Mistake thank you for your understanding The guide wa at hatta Dam by 9:30 Am as they took just few pictures and Left thank you

Waste of time and money

We were really looking forward to this trip - but unfortunately it started badly with a guide who barely spoke a word to us from the moment he picked us up and continued to go downhill from there!! We got to the Hatta Dam - having gone to the sand buggies first - despite this not being on the itinerary and us stating we did not wish to go!! The guide made no attempt to get out of the car - unlike other guides we have had - and we wandered around for 10 mins looking at a dam before being driven off again to a very small patch of water with some geese on! Then we were told the heritage village did not open until 4pm - so we would not be going - one of the main parts of the tour. We drove straight past Hatta Hill Park - no attempt to stop by the guide - this was on the list to do so ???? Then onto the Bee Discovery Centre - oh - also closed!! Guide didn't say anything - just drove off! Would appear that during Ramadan nothing opens early - Wadi hub didn't open until 11am - we got there before 10 and there was nowhere to get even a drink! We had nothing since leaving the hotel! We would have been happy to alter the timings of the trip to allow for the late openings but this was not given to us as an option. Following all of this we told the guide to take us back to the hotel as this trip was a monumental waste of time and money. He proceeded to drive like he was at a race track and we felt so unsafe in the car. Not a word was uttered by him - even when we exited the car. I followed this up with the company directly and was assured that they would provide us with another alternative and gave us a list - we chose one and they then tried to charge us for this! OK it was half the amount - but it was like for like - we had paid for a private tour of Hatta - so we chose a private tour of Abudhabi! Not to be!! After much backwards and forwards we requested a marina dinner cruise - to be told they would book it and confirm with us - they did not - surprise surprise. Contacted them again and they promised to book it for another evening and send us location and details by the next afternoon - did they?? Oh no - they certainly did not - and i have all this as proof on Whatsapp conversation - so i can prove it! What they did do at one point was try to turn it around on us and ask why we were so annoyed as we had booked the tour in the first place!!??!!?? Well - funny enough - this company has been in business for many years and would know that places do not open early during Ramadan - something we did not know until recently! So it would be their responsibility to either alter the times respectively or give people the choice to change to another option by informing them!! Do not recommend this at all

Dear and Respected Guest First of All we are really sorry for spoiling your Hatta Mountain Tour on 23rd March Being a Owner of this Establishment and serving on Viator It’s our responsibility to Assure on timings First of All we are serving Hatta tour since 1/2 years and we tried our best to Make Coustomer happy as much as we can!! 2nd thing is Hatta is a small Village which is in middle of Rocks and Mountain Picking you Up early 7 am means to take you early to spend some more time in that area and Our first point is Hatta dam Where you reach in approximately one and half hour in hatta dam we have kayaking and beautiful view of mountain out guide told you to spend some quality time there(8:45amyou reach there ) but you came back in 2 minutes saying we don’t like here ( where people spend usually 1 hour 30 minutes ) Our next destination is Hatta honey bee park where you reach in next 15 minutes And once we told you to proceed with tickets you denied and tell driver that you don’t want to go there also ( honey bee people Usually spend 1 hour) Our next destination was hill park and you also denied to go there Next step was to go to swan lake you also spend there 2 minutes and came down to car after that you start fighting with guide as I think you were expecting more but things are natural we can’t impose them there as our respective guest did not want to spend any time in any where how we can force them to stay some where next stop is wadi hub usually it’s open at 9 am even you can see on their website but as it’s was first day of Ramadan it’s open 11 am we requested Mam to stay there as we came early it’s will be open in next 30 minutes means while you can enjoy your coffee somewhere but she start crying and fighting with our Guide and shouting on him saying you should know it’s will be open by 11 am Even heritage village she spend 5 minutes only Dear Viator team guest is Guest for us even but if they don’t want to spend time any where where to take them undoubtedly she said dropp us to hotel and driver dropp them to hotel on their whole way she was fighting and complaining to driver and he didn’t spike any single word to avoaid any complaints Next step when she reach to dubai she write to our operations and ask for refund and our team simply give here 2/4 options to calm her down and she was asking free things we have all the details in our chats screens abudhabi tour we ask her Unfortunately we agreed for marina cruise dinner but seats was not available and could not book that for here even on operating team complaint that she is rude on her messages As we said hatta is small village with Mountain for hiking and she don’t want to spend any time any where We refund her by viator already and we requested viator to remove her comments as it’s spoiling our establishment image Hope she understands If viator want we are ready to share all conversations by email or what we have on screen short also Thank you

Hiking and sites in Hatta

Hatta was a nice place to visit and to get you out of the city of Dubai for a day. They have many things to do like horseback riding, zip lining and hiking. We hiked to the Hatta sign. The problem was we were told to hike from the wrong starting trailhead. Make sure your on the hiking trail and not the bike trail. Once we figured it out it was fine. We also went to Hill Park, And the Bee Farm which was very interesting and fun. Would recommend that experience.

Les sites étaient fermés pour la plupart mais nous étions contents de quitter Dubaï ville pour voir autre chose. L'expérience a été ternie par l'attitude du chauffeur. Il n'est jamais sorti de son véhicule même pour nous accueillir à la sortie de l'hôtel. Il a passé la majeure partie de son temps au téléphone ignorant notre présence. De plus, notre sécurité n'était pas assurée car il regardait constamment son téléphone en conduisant. Très mauvaise expérience. Nous sommes un couple qui avons l'habitude de voyager et c'est la 1ère fois qu'une excursion nous procure une sensation aussi négative.
