What To Expect

Receive a morning pickup from your Dubrovnik hotel, traveling aboard a luxury, air-conditioned vehicle. Select between a small-group, minibus (18 people), or coach (38 people) tour when you book.

Then, drive through Croatia and cross over the Bosnia-Herzegovina border (make sure to have your passport) heading to Kravice, your first stop.

Admire the dramatic surroundings of the thundering Kravice Waterfalls system, which towers up to 80 feet (25 meters) above the water below. If you happen to arrive during the summer months when water levels are lower, guests can even take a short swim in the shallow pools. You’ll have 45 minutes to spend at the site. You’ll leave Kravice, arriving in Mostar around 12:30pm.

Explore the historic scenery of this ancient town during a guided walking tour followed by plenty of free time to wander on your own. During your visit, you’ll get a look at the Old Town, see the famous “Stari Most” bridge, and visit the Mosque of Mostar and the Turkish House. You’ll also have time for lunch (own expense). You’ll then begin the return trip to Dubrovnik, stopping en route for a rest and Turkish coffee (own expense). You’ll be dropped off back at your Dubrovnik hotel at the end of the trip.

Well organised with regular toilet stops and ability to purchase snacks. Border crossing can take a bit of time, was a bit frustrating to not know how long that would take but to be expected. Mostar and the lakes were beautiful.

Our driver as well as our local tour guide were both very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing their personal experiences. The falls were beautiful and Mostar was very pretty. I chose this tour because it included the Turkish House, as well.

Mostar was amazing, a beautiful city and very interesting history. It was easy to get to the old town from where our bus dropped us off which was nice. I have just a few complaints/suggestions: one is that there are way too many pickup locations in the morning in Dubrovnik. I had one of the earlier pickup spots and I had been sitting on the bus for an hour by the time we left the city. Consolidating these locations would be beneficial and preferable I think. Secondly, the microphone was not working on the bus for half of the trip. The tour guide still tried to give us information but it was almost impossible to hear her on the big bus and I feel as though the microphone should have been checked prior to starting the tour. It was fixed later in the afternoon, after we left Mostar however. I was pleased with the tour overall, but I think most of my satisfaction was due to the locations we visited rather than with the tour service itself!

What a wonderful day. So well organised, picked up at our hotel at 7am. The tour guide on the bus was fun, informative and shared lots of information. The local guide once we arrived at Mostar was amazing. So engaging and had lots of information to share. She was also happy to recommend places to eat. The falls late in the afternoon were wonderful and worth a visit. Just remember you need additional money to get into the city and falls.

What a great experience! In a nutshell: Rosa, our guide was full of facts, As many people mentioned before, not enough time to explore Mostar. I also booked a Turkish House (which I found interesting) Had a very tasty lunch in Urban restaurant, overlooking the bridge. You can pay there by card. Very affordable prices and most delicious food! To get into the waterfall Krawice you have to go down many steps but the cool water is the most rewarding!

Very well organised trip with excellent, very knowledgeable guides. Mostar is an interesting town with just a small part intact/rebuilt after the devastating war. The Turkish/Ottoman influence is evident in the architecture and local crafts. It’s an interesting mix of cultures. We enjoyed walking across the famous bridge - Stari Most and the visit to the ancient Turkish House as well as a meal at a river front restaurant- The Labarint. The visit to the waterfalls rounded off the day. Though overcast on the day we visited, the falls are a stunning sight.

Memorable and definitely worth it

One of the most memorable trips I've been on. The commentary on the coach journey to Bosnia was very informative and fun. The waterfalls were stunning! I agree with others that €10 was too much to enter, but the sight really made up for it. The spray off the waterfall helped to cool us down in glaring sunshine. Mostar itself - what a beautiful town with so much history. Our tour guide in Mostar was really informative and very funny, even when telling us about the sad recent history of Mostar and Bosnia. An extra hour in Mostar would have been nice, but I can't fault the gorgeous (and cheap!) Bosnian food, drink and hospitality. Top tip - Bosnia is very cash heavy. Shops, attractions and restaurants accept Euros as well as Bosnian Marks so make sure to have plenty to hand.

To see a turkish house and Mostar bridges were unforgatable. Alma, in Mostar was a great leader. The group was 52 person, it was more then 45, that's why I marked the program only four rates.

If you want to see Mostar and the waterfalls book this tour! We were picked up from the hotel exactly on time, the mini bus was comfortable although a little warm at times. The air con wasn’t the coolest but did work at times. Our driver and guide were fantastic!!! The driver was actually Bosnian and was a smooth and very calm and relaxed driver. We never felt like we were rushing and it was a very comfortable drive. Our guide was Croatian and gave us lots of tips and advice, and even drew the bus a map to explain the history of both counties. The waterfalls were brilliant! The only thing an hour didn’t feel quite long enough, it would have been great to have longer theme to explore them better. Mostar was very nice, and included an English tour guide. Please note you need to bring euros the trip does not include 10 euros each for the waterfalls and 3 euros tourist tax to enter Bosnia.

We really enjoyed this tour with our lovely guide Rosa. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver was excellent also, making the trip feel safe. In Co-star, we were guided locally by Alma, who had a great fun presence and loads of interesting facts. Mostar was a beautiful town and the Kravice Falls were really spectacular. A great day out!
