Experiencing Old Town Edinburgh was incredible.
Robert_B, May 2024
Our tour guide Dave was excellent. We enjoyed the historical info and his museum background was quite useful. Of course, just the scenery in Old Town Edinburgh was incredible.
Great tour!
Zhongxing_L, May 2024
We had a wonderful tour guide - David. Extremely knowledgeable, knows each piece of architecture by heart, great sense of humor! The walking tour was absolutely a must do!
Great tour with Steuart!!!
Lauren_S, May 2024
I had a great tour with Steuart (funny spelling :)). It was like chatting with an old friend while walking around a new city, and that friend has a vast amount of knowledge. He even recited a poem for us nearing the end which was fun. He made the whole tour experience interesting and the 3 hours flew by. Highly recommend taking this one!
Alison was a fantastic...
Traci_B, May 2024
Alison was a fantastic tour guide! She was so informative and her passion as a historian was easily felt! Her knowledge of Edinburgh history was fascinating, she kept it interesting and we learned so much! We went on our first day in town and we're glad we did as it helped us learn the places we wanted to make sure we saw on our trip and she also gave wonderful recommendations 🙂

We used this tour as our introduction to Edinburgh. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. David gave many insights about the history and architecture of the city. His friendliness was a bonus! We enjoyed the tour, despite the cold wind!

Stuart is a wonderful, friendly guide with many tidbits to share. He fits the pace to the group, always leaving room for questions. Would not have know Edinburgh so well at all without him.

Good stroll
Edie_D, May 2024
We’ve taken more than a few walking tours on this trip, and I hate to say it but this one just fell short. I think Steuart is a great guy but it was just a little too casual and laid back for me. Almost like taking a stroll with your uncle.
Response from Host, May 2024
Dear Edie-D Thank you very much for your Review of your Tour with our Steuart Watkins on Tuesday. We are sorry that you found him a just little casual and laid back. We will forward your Review to him. We very much hope that you enjoy(ed) the rest of your time in our fair city. Best wishes Stuart U.
Fantastic tour
Patricia_C, May 2024
Alistair is the perfect tour guide: friendly, informative, funny, and incredibly knowledgable about all things Edinburgh. Do not miss this tour!
Excellent tour of the old city
Mark_B, May 2024
Our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. We started away from the Royal Mile but we received a lot of historic stories/information as we walked to Grassmarket and then to the Royal Mile. The tour ends at what was the gate of the walled old city. There is some walking up and down steps and moderately steep roads so be prepared. I highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, May 2024
Dear Mark-B Thank you so much for your brilliant Review of your Tour with our Alastair Sim and glad that you thoroughly enjoyed it. Must do
Gaurav_S, Apr 2024
Craig was wonderful and knowledgable . My parents had issue in walking and we had a 20 month toddler so he was kind enough to edit the tour on the go to ensure that my parents were able to be all and enjoy . Edit the tour didn’t mean we didn’t get to know about the history of the royal mile , place intially not part of the tour were added and how 3 hrs passéd we never realised A must visit if you want to really know about the history of Edinburgh
Response from Host, May 2024

Wonderful
Henry_S, Apr 2024
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-hour tour with Stuart. We revisited several places mentioned afterwards to enjoy further, crisscrossing the route. It was a group of 12 that he handled effortlessly. The history woven into the walk brought a new light to pivotal points and makes so much more sense than when we originally learned it. We are already going back and rereading history with a different eye. Highly recommend! Ask him questions and enjoy.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Dear Henry Thanks a million for your superb 5 Star Review of your Tour with Stuart. We all had a wonderful time ydy morning and I am so pleased you enjoyed the Tour so much. I am pretty sure that all the others on Tour also enjoyed it very much. By the Grace of God we were blessed with wonderful sunshine yesterday which made for such a pleasant change! Do please come to our fair city again soon?! Best wishes Stuart U

Great Tour to start our Scotland Vacation
Christine_H, Apr 2024
We booked this tour to get a good introduction to Edinburgh, specifically the Royal Mile. Our tour guide was great, and went well beyond the Royal Mile. He provided details about key landmarks, streets, restaurants, and places to see...and LOTS of Scottish history. It was more than we expected. If you are looking for a good way to start your Scottish vacation in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend this.
