Stuart, our driver, was great. Entertained with stories and Scottish music during the bus ride. The scenery along the route was beautiful. St. Andrews was cute and easily walkable. The Fishing villages were nothing spectacular, but provided a leg stretch, coffee and bathroom break. Definitely recommend for an easy day trip from Edinburgh.

Excellent Day Trip to St. Andrews and Interesting Villages

Saint Andrew’s is definitely worth a day trip from Edinburgh. Our tour left each stop on time and kept to a schedule without anyone feeling rushed. Our guide, Connor, was excellent, offering a lot of interesting historical information along with some good jokes. I highly recommend this tour.

Lovely but a little dull

It was a beautiful day. Our guide, Marty was excellent. Full of history, jokes, interesting facts. Honestly, I found St Andrews charming but dull- I'm not a golfer. If you are an Outlander fan you will love this trip. The highlight of the trip was meeting two couples who were part of the same family traveling together. They were just such lovely, interesting and accomplished people.

Fishing villages were nice. Saint Andrew’s was beautiful. Overall a nice tour and would recommend. Smaller mini buses are generally better experience but it was still good with the big bus. Tour guide was funny and entertained during the drive.

We had the best time visiting some smaller places outside of Edinburgh. Our guide was engaging and full of fun facts to fill the time during our drive. The villages were stunning and so fun to explore.

Andrew T was an excellent driver and guide! So helpful and friendly, on top of being really knowledgeable. The town of St Andrews felt a little small for having been given 3 hours in, but other than that had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking to see some smaller towns!

Stunning countryside

Magical moments walking across the Old Course since it is closed on Sundays and you are allowed to walk it. Local St Andrews college kids were trying to raft down the creek on 18, very entertaining! Lot of history in one place. The guide was fabulous at all the stops we made and we found some very unique antiques in Falkland.

The trip was informative and extremely fun, largely due to the extra efforts of our guide, Stewart , who was witty and very knowledgeable of the history, culture and current “not to miss” spots all along our itinerary. Stuart -our tour guide was great- excellent commentary and knew history. Funny. Great trip! Bucket list is checked. Tip: to get the picture on the bridge just have to wait between tee off. Then get out of the way quick! Plenty of time to check out the town.

Graeme was a great tour guide for this outing! We had fantastic stories, history and driving while heading to St. Andrews. St. Andrews is a gorgeous small town/village. We loved the stops in the little villages and photo opportunities. Definitely recommend this trip!

No compassion

My wife became violently ill minutes before the tour left the meeting point. I told the tour manager we could not make the tour and we were leaving to get my wife medical treatment. I requested a refund from viator and they refused. The company’s customer care was far from compassionate. Buyer be ware.
