Our tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the various parts of the city and Scotland as a whole, which made it a very enjoyable day. Rosslyn Chapel was beautiful, dinner was delicious and the Military Tatoo was exciting. I would highly recommend Ecosse Tours.

As an 80-year-old single woman I wanted to be sure that I wasn't abandoned by Viator as I had been in Reykjavik earlier in the week causing me to miss my ship! Alan is wonderful as is his crew. He knows how to find you when other companies could care less - he turns every stone and looks in every nook and cranny until he finds you - and I mean literally! The tour itself was marvelous, but the main thing is that you won't get left behind. He takes individual care of his clients. It is the best by far of any tour I have taken. Dinner was delicious too. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than some tours, but you can rest assured he will find you, get you to the proper place at the proper time, and return you to the ship on time. I can't say enough for Alan, his crew, and the tour. Worth every penny!

We would highly recommend this tour. We stopped at so many great places in Edinburgh and had lots of time to look around and take wonderful photos. Then onto Rosslyn Chapel, which was in itself, fantastic. So much history. The Scottish dinner was delicious. What a wonderful restaurant Allan, our tour guide choose. Then onto the Tattoo. Unfortunately it poured rain very heavy at times, so we ended up only watching half of it, but what an experience. Our tour guide Allan and driver Allan were both the best. So professional. Tour guide Allan was funny, extremely knowledgeable and ready to share that knowledge. Learned so much and had a fantastic day. Again, highly recommend. Worth every penny. Thanks.

We had a fun and educational day in Edinburgh with our tour guide. Alan. We saw a variety of sights and learned a lot about Scotland. We ended the day by attending the spectacular Military Tattoo show.

A great way to see the city

Alan, our guide was on time in a very nice 8 passenger coach. We toured the city and because it was raining, Alan gave us the history while we were parked. The rain stopped and we were able to walk a bit and do some shopping. More history on the way to Rosslyn Chapel. We returned to the city for dinner and whisky tasting at a wonderful pub. Dinner was great. After dinner we were dropped off near the castle for the Tattoo. Our seats were at the top of the bleachers. We could see the whole parade field and did not have to worry about getting wet as we were under cover. The Tattoo was phenomenal and we thoroughly enjoyed the performances. After returning to the coach, we were dropped off at our hotel. One of the est excursions we have taken.

Enjoyed the tour of sites in Edinburgh we had never seen on prior trips...Liked Rosslyn Chapel as well...dinner at the pub was excellent and the Royal Tatto beyond description. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with him.
