I have taken many tours, and many walking food tours, and this was among, if not the best tour I’ve taken. Dilara our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and so helpful. Not only was she knowledgeable about food, but about the city, it’s history, it’s art and architecture. It was so much more than “just” a food tour. But, make no mistake, the food was excellent. We went back on our own to revisit some of the spots on the tour which were all small businesses, selling excellent products. I highly recommend this tour.

Just as fun the 2nd time around!

This was the second time I took this tour and it did not disappoint. The tour was similar to the last one, and fortunately, I had the wonderful Dilara. (She was our guide the first time I did this tour, and is the reason I took it a second time!) The food we tried this time was a bit different than the last but everything was still just as delicious. We did a lot of walking, and even though it was early December, it wasn’t too cold. Just make sure you have comfortable shoes! My husband and I had an amazing time, and I look forward to our next trip back to beautiful Florence. Thank you, once again, Dilara for being such a fantastic host and guide! You are a beautiful human being and so kind! Hope to see you again, soon!

Best food tour ever! Must-do in Florence!

The entire experience! We loved how she incorporated Florence’s history of the city into the tour. The value for money was so generous! Incredible variety of food. The market (oil) stop was our favorite!! And the gelato! our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, we had the best time!! Highlight of our Italy trip!

We loved this walking and eating tour of the San Lorenzo neighborhood and the Mercato Centrale. Our tour guide Aurora was fun and knowledgeable. We did this tour early in our trip, and it provided a great background on Tuscan food that came in handy for the rest of our trip.

Fabulous tour! We were two adults and two children, and everyone loved it. We loved visiting the central markets and the little shops along the way. Lunch was an unexpected surprise. We did not leave the tour hungry!

The tour guide didn’t seem that interested in touring. We have done other food tours and this didn’t even compare to those. We mostly rated bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. At sit in lunch we were given one small bowel of pasta and were told to share among 4 people. Lots of walking, only one bathroom stop, sit for 20 minutes with 10 minutes for bathroom.

Our group of 6 became a group of 7 unexpectedly and the team was very accommodating. The tour itself was excellent. Our tour guide Giardano was both knowledgeable and professional. He also kept a good pace for some of the older folks in the group. Everything we tasted was as beautiful as it was delicious. Would definitely recommend to others! Thank you!

Our guide was lovely! She did a wonderful job showing off the city between stops. Our only “complaint” if you will was that we’ve done similar tours in the past and the food was more a bit of this or that and the stops closer. This was a little heavier on the food side with so many options to taste and slightly larger portions, just make sure you’re hungry!

The Florence Street Food Tour was fantastic! Our guide, Dilara (I hope I spelled that correctly!!), was wonderful! She was incredibly knowledgeable about Florence's history, and even brought a tablet to share photos as she shared! Our group was made up of about 15 or more of us, larger than normal, since the day we had originally booked was actually a holiday in Italy. While the group was larger than I expected, it did not feel that way, Dilara was able to connect with each of us and everyone was quite friendly and happy to be there. We had a lot to eat on this tour! We tried fresh ravioli, lampredotto, salame, balsamic vinegars, and truffle spreads, had a light lunch that consisted of bread with liver spread and a hearty vegetable soup. Towards the end we tried cantuccio and topped off the tour with gelato. It was truly an amazing two and half hours. The time flew because we were having such a good time. Thank you so much! Will definitely book this tour again when I return in the spring!
