Fun family trip 🧐

Johnny was very accommodating. Our driver wind and Thuy made the experience great. We especially enjoyed the ATV ride on the white dunes. There was lots of opportunities to capture pictures our family will enjoy.

A lot of time travel in...

A lot of time travel in the bus and the jeep. You have to go around and get your own lunch (not included). They don't have facility for a big group (place to sit down, only one bathroom and it was dirty). Paid pretty pricey for the tour but still have to pay out of pocket ( ATV 10 minutes 300k dong/person, lunch...) . Mostly sight seeing, great for taking pictures. It has very beautiful nature but you can go on your own for much cheaper.

Mui Ne is a very pretty beach town and the sand dunes are really pretty also. The tour operator Johnny Tours is personable and they try hard to meet your needs especially to help you get some cool photos. The only downside with this trip is it’s just a lot of time travelling to and from HCMC, that being said the bus was a sleeper and incredibly comfortable.

Very enjoyable trip, sleeper bus was a new experience for us and relaxing way to travel. We stayed in Ho Chi Minh for 10 days so was great to get out of the hussle and bussle. Trip was very well organised we had an hour to do what we wanted before the tour started so had a stroll to the beach and grabbed some lunch. Walk down fairy stream, you need to remove your shoes so better to wear crocs/flip flops. Fishing village stop was great for photos, not actually fishing but the amount of boats is staggering. Sand dunes .. it cost additional for this, we paid 600,000 to be driven.. if you want to drive it’s 800,000 but the driver still has to go with you .. great experience and definitely worth doing. Overall a great day out, we arrived back in Ho Chi Minh about 10pm.

Great day tour to coastal town, but avoid sand dunes if windy

Johnny tours did a great job with this tour! They were in contact with us before the tour date to coordinate details, and pickup the morning of the tour went very smoothly. Our guides and Johnny himself met us at the tour office in Mui Ne and they were all very friendly. Everything was very organized. We really enjoyed riding in the jeep along the coast and walking in the fairy stream. The tour is very active and there isn’t much downtime to relax because you are moving from one activity to the next pretty quickly, so if you are looking for an active and adventurous day tour this one will be good for you! One thing I would like to warn future travelers about is to check the wind conditions on the day of the tour. We were not prepared for the extreme winds on the day of our trip and we had a really terrible experience at the white sand dunes. I want to emphasize that this was not the fault of Johnny Tours. It was just a result of the bad weather conditions. At the dunes we rode an ATV up to the top of the dunes. When we got to the top it felt like we were in the middle of a desert sand storm. I had sand in my eyes, nose, mouth, throat, and everywhere else. You literally could not breathe without breathing in sand. We also made the mistake of participating in the sand sledding. Be aware that if you sled down the dune you have to climb back up with the sled and I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it up. I’ve never been so dirty in my whole life. It’s been 2 days and multiple showers and I’m still finding sand on my body. Overall this was a great tour and I would recommend to others. But if it’s very windy on the day of the tour, I would suggest waiting at the bottom of the dune instead of riding up to the top. There’s a nice cafe area at the bottom and you’ll have a much better time getting a cold drink or a snack and not being covered from head to toe in sand.

Do not waste your time!

Do not waste your time on this one. Every stop was hurried. Our jeep driver was always the last one so we never knew how long we had at each stop. The bus transfer was also horrible. They speak no English what so ever and were very rude. At one point on the way back my girlfriend and I were supposedly on the wrong bus so we were kicked off and told to get on the other bus only to be told to get back on the original bus. They did all this by pointing and grunting. the only word I understood was "Move" as I was pushed out of the way. I do not care about the cost...it was just a waste of an entire day.

Nice day on the coast

Had this tour on my last full day in Vietnam and I made the right call. I enjoyed all the stops we had on the itinerary. If you’re interested in driving the ITVs solo, be warned, you’ll have to spend 800k VND. But other than that, it was great. Especially want to point out we were given two vouchers to spend for lunch and given Bahn Mi’s before our bus ride back, which was great

A Day in Mui Ne Sands

It was an awesome experience going to the sand dunes. The ATV's gave us a big rush when they took us down the side of two massive sand dunes. So much fun! Our guide was so friendly, funny and made the tour really enjoyable. Would recommend the tour. 👌

To me the white dunes were the highlight of the tour. I do recommend hiring at ATV to take you to the top and then to the lake so you have time to see everything. Johnny was very welcoming nd easy to communicate with, Thuy was a very high-energy and engaging guide. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The to and from Ho Chi Minh was simple enough and the sleeper buses were fine. The whole tour was done on colorful Jeeps and we never felt rushed. We came for the dunes and stream and got exactly that. No stress and nice scenery

Don’t do it

The day started off less than ideal when we were given the wrong minivan plate but that was a minor issue and only resulted in a 10 min delay. Our minivan driver got lost getting out of HCMC and we were circling the same area 4-5 times. What should have been a 3hour drive took 5 hours and while we had a nice tour guide we were rushed through the day and taken only for photo ops. We had absolutely no time to enjoy the beach at all. The highlight of the excursion was between the great gas stop on the way with all the food options or the sunset……. I would absolutely discourage anyone from this excursion. Again our tour guide was great and tried very hard to make the best of the situation but we spent more time that day in a minivan then we did enjoying Mùi Ne Very disappointed, not worth the money we paid….or the time spent

The tour was very well organized. Driving the jeep was fun and the sand dunes were also a dream. It's a bit of a shame that the quads (as in the description) are not included in the price. All in all it was a very great experience and I would do it again with Johnny Tours!
