Horrible guide. This company claims to be 100 Tasmanian run but I had a California born tour guide who barely knew what she was talking about, had to check her notes before talking about anything, pull the car over at random places to turn on a bad DVD, and tried to claim that the Australia history was hers. Port Arthur is an interesting location but we spent too much time there. If I could go back and do it again I would just rent a car and do it myself. The roads are easy enough and I could have seen more of the peninsula on my own.

The tour guide was really well educated on the history of Tasmania, especially Hobart. He had many interesting facts and no question was too hard to answer for him. The day was really well managed and we enjoyed having time to ourselves at Port Arthur to explore the area and take our time. Would highly recommend this tour for someone's first time to Tasmania.
