Peter painted a detailed history of this area for us as we moved from site to site. He also shared a lot of up-to-date information as we saw buildings, parks and places of interest while learning about the people who have become part of the landscape. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone and did not find the walking strenuous.

I learnt so much about the history of Hobart . Having all the laminated pictures helped greatly in telling the stories. Certainly there were lots of interesting places I would not have found otherwise. Perhaps 2.5 hours without a sit down is just a bit too tiring ! Thinking 2 hours might have been long enough.

Peter is an excellent guide and we learnt so much about the history of Hobart. His knowledge is excellent and he presents it in an informative and interesting way. The start point was easy to find and the walk was at an easy pace with many stops to listen and enjoy the scenery. We've done many awl;ks over the years and POeter's is one of the best. We recommend this walk.
