Clint was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. I would highly recommend taking the long hike down to Wineglass Bay if you're feeling up to it. It was beautiful and well worth the hike back up to the top. The sandwiches from the Swansea Bakery were delicious!

Thanks very much for letting us know you had a great tour with our wonderful guide Heather. Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park are famous for the amazing beaches, bays and mountains of the region. We are so pleased to have shared this with you. Happy and safe travels!

The Wineglass Bay and Honeymoon Bay are stunning places to see. Plus the amazing tasmanian landscape plus all others stops overall this was one of the most memorable trips I did. The guide was great too. Highly recommend! :)
Beautiful views but a long trek from Hobart

This tour involves a lot of time on the minibus and isn’t what I would describe as an active tour. The steps to reach wineglass bay viewpoint are easy and the view is beautiful they take no more then 15 mins if you’re of average fitness and the same going back down. It was hard to know whether to leave the group to head down to wineglass bay we were told there were 1000 steps down and needless to say back but as you have to this bit alone as a solo traveller it’s a bit of a dilemma that said I wish I had as Honeymoon bay is a nice stop for lunch but I think Wineglass bay would have been so much better and achieved the active description given to the tour. The walk around the lighthouse is a short flat 15 min circuit and in my opinion just a filler of time before the very long drive back to Hobart. The drive was broken up with a comfort stop at Devils Corner winery and I would highly recommend using that stop to get a Paddle of 5 (failing which 3) wines to taste for a bit of fun. Our guide Heather was great, knowledgeable, well organised and very good company.

Sites, especially looking down to Wineglass Bay. Stop to Devils Corner on way back to Hobart was a nice way to end the day.
    Enjoyed It

I thought the scenery of Wineglass Bay was a very stunning experience. Also, the experience of going to Freycinet National Park was very cool. Overall, it was a very nice tour. I am happy to do it again some other time.
    Great way to see Tasmania
    Christian_T, Oct 2023
Wineglass bay is cool in pictures, but it’s even more stunning in person. It was a beautiful drive there and back with several nice stops along the way. We had plenty of time to walk down to the beach and hang out for a bit. We even saw a wallaby down there. If you don’t have a car, this is a great option to get to one of the must see spots in Tasmania.
    We had a wonderful day...

We had a wonderful day out with an incredible guide who was so passionate about sharing his knowledge. The walk up to the lookout was 100% worth it, and the views were definitely a feast for the eyes. I would highly recommend Tours Tasmania as a tour company. I was lucky enough to do another tour with them which was also absolutely fantastic!
    Beautiful Wineglass Bay

The stunning view of Wineglass Bay was breathtaking. It was an amazing experience, highly recommend!
Views & photo stops made it worth the sore legs after hike
    Aimee_S, Aug 2023
As the tour info suggests, definitely be prepared for a big hike/climb to get to the Wineglass Bay lookout. It took our group approx 45 mins to hike up to the lookout, with a lot of steep steps towards the top. If you have any mobility or heart issues etc this is probably not the tour for you - even the "moderate/easier" option would not suit those with mobility concerns & unfit people. There was an option to be left at the Freycinet Lodge, but if you are paying the money for the experience of seeing Wineglass Bay then it seems like a waste of money to go and sit in a lodge for nearly 3 hours of the day trip. If you are willing and able, the climb to see Wineglass Bay was definitely worth the sore legs the next day! There were 2 options - walk from carpark up to lookout then back down, or, walk up to lookout, down approx 1000 steps to Wineglass Bay beach, then back up the same steps and back down to carpark. Those who did the extra section had their packed lunch on beach, those of us who did the shorter hike took our lunches to Honeymoon Bay instead and also saw Cape Tourville / Lighthouse which the other group missed. The tour guide Nick was very knowledgeable about Tasmania & its history, the local areas, hiking, the native flora/fauna/geology etc. There were ample stops for bathroom breaks, views, etc. Honeymoon Bay was also lovely, as was the Cape Tourville walk near the lighthouse. My only suggestion is that maybe there could have been a quick stop in Swansea (perhaps the stop to buy lunch instead of Sorell, or at least a photo stop in lieu of one of the 2 stops at Raspins Beach?) as we drove through Swansea twice and people commented it looked nice near the water and we would have liked to stop quickly for photo etc. August was a good time to go as there were no big summer crowds on the hike but it wasn't too cold for hiking - most people ended up removing jackets etc as the hike progressed. A good option for a (long) day trip if you have the extra time in Hobart, I believe this company also had a version of the tour where you could meet up with another group about 2/3 of the way and continue to Launceston with them.
    Beautiful, fun, adventurous tour

We had a fun day exploring at Wine Glass bay. Ben was a great tour guide. It’s a hike to the top to have some spectacular views, but well worth it. — it’s a long day, but I’d you have the time, take the trip
    Wonderful

This tour was amazing, tour guide Ben went over and beyond his role. Helped and so educational about the area.
Awesome exploration on the beautiful bays, beaches, trees, rocks and lighthouse
    Heather_Y, May 2023
Peter is a great tour guide. The walk to wineglass Bay had a crazy amount of stairs (which is fairly easy to climb) and I'm glad we managed to do it at our own pace, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and awesome commentaries on the blue pine and eucalyptus along the journey. Totally enjoyed being an explorer for the day!
    Fun, entertaining, and informative

We had a fantastic time. It was a fun filled day and the tour guide was excellent! Would recommend as a way to see a lot of key areas in a day. Thank you!

Pleasant trip with experienced guide. The only regret is that horrible weather ruined our last stop which was the lookout at summit of Mount Wellington.
