Disappointing

We chose this tour because we wanted to learn about the island and we love snorkeling. If you enjoy snorkeling , the place they took us to is nowhere you would want to go. The beach wasn’t nice, the water was murky and it was extremely crowded. Very poor visibility that day. While on the bus our guide spoke mostly about his personal life, surfing injuries and the dead body he saw as an 8 year old. We received no information about growing pineapples. Basically we got dropped off places to spend money. He implied that the majority of his income came from tips. This was our only day to see the island and we were extremely disappointed, but it could have been better.

Not worth the money paid

Perhaps it was because it was the guys first time, but the tour director could not give any facts or point out anything of interest. The snorkling was not only long walk but there were no sea turtles it was a total bust.

All of our 7 tour guides are all handpicked for the best island experience possible. Their knowledge of the island needs to be spot on. It's very possible that you may have gotten a temporary guide due to short staff and if you didn't we'd like to know who your tour guide was. We do state that there's an 85-90 percent chance for turtles at this secret local beach. Hoping you can help us and thank you so much for your time. Aloha

Great tour but skip the lunch

The tour guide (Kanoy??) was great. She managed narrating and driving simultaneously. I only wish she accepted e-pay so we could have provided an appropriate gratuity. The lunch was awful. $116 wasted. The only saving grace was that we were told the funds go to the local YMCA so we are calling it a nice donation. Very small buffet; outside. Shrimp overcooked and couldn't even peel and eat. Chicken and Hawaiian bread was decent. Rest was white rice, vegetables (with tofu), basic salad and flavorless macaroni salad. That's it. No desert. Also, sugarless punch. $29 a person with no other option available. You will get hungry as tour is long so I recommend bringing your own food or be prepared for a nice donation to a good cause. Overall, it was a great way to see the entire island.

I had a good time learning about Hawaiian history, tour guide Jake is very knowledgeable,, however the order of the tour could have been organized better and the food stop need to be a better food truck overall it was a good day

Great Tour!

We had a great tour with our tour guide Damian! He was very knowledgeable about the island and it's history and we found it very interesting to hear all he had to tell us! The stops were interesting and well timed. He knew where all the nice washrooms were and where to get the best deals for food and drinks. Our lunch order was called in ahead of time so there wasn't any wasted time there either. We didn't have a very good snorkelling day as it was windy so the visibility was poor, but the sun was shining and it was pleasant sitting on the beach. All in all an excellent day!

Jacob (Jake) was a fantastic tour guide. He was knowledgeable and had stories to tell the entire trip! The stops were quick and meaningful. We took beautiful pictures. The highlight was swimming with the turtles. We spotted turtles right away and swam with them the entire snorkel time. So beautiful and peaceful! The macadamia nut farm and dole plantation were also great stops with just enough time at each place. The lunch stop was a small shrimp place and it was delicious! I highly recommend this tour for an overview of the island and great experiences along the way!
