What To Expect

After being picked up from your Waikiki hotel, set off on the Circle Island Drive. Keep your camera to hand as you wind up into the Koʻolau Mountains, stopping to gaze out over the Hawaiian Islands from the Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout and visit Byodo-In Temple.

Continue to the beautiful Waimea Falls, then make a final stop at the Dole Plantation, where you can sample some tasty frozen pineapple DoleWhip® (own expense).

After a full day taking in the island’s highlights, return to Waikiki, where your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

We intentionally only operate this tour using an air conditioned mini-bus to ensure that group sizes are kept small enough to enjoy each stop with your group and guide.

Keoki was a great guide. He shared so much Hawaiian history with us as well as explaining all of the sights we saw on his tour. We got a great overview of the north shore of Oahu. He made the tour fun. Loved our lunch! I would highly recommend this tour especially for first time visitors.

Enjoyed lunch and hiking in the botanical garden. Chelsea was very sunny, enthusiastic and helpful. Would have appreciated it if she paused for breath occasionally.

WOW what a Simply Amazing Day with Auntie Mome , One of the best of our 7 day vacation from Louisiana. Mome is hands down the best guide and trust me, my wife and I have been with many others!! Do not wait - book a private tour with Auntie. Our day started with many stories, history of the island and gorgeous beach views. Mome pointed out so many options all around the island and she was patient, funny and allowed us to be comfortable and explore. Her plan for the day exceeded our expectations. I HIGHLY recommend this tour option as you can really plan the day to your specific interests. Too many stops to list but beautiful views, with places for my wife and I to be active, amazing food stops for fresh shrimps, etc , we also had macadamia tasting! - and Mome shared SO much knowledge about the island and its culture. We finished the day with a genuine smile and a gift from Mome. Do not go to Oahu without booking!

Kimo went above and beyond as a guide. He made each of his passengers feel like family. Throughout the day long tour he showered us with relevant information, history, tips for further exploration, and personal stories. It was a precious experience I won't forget.

Birthday celebration was a memorable one, I get to see the north side of Honolulu, driving through the mountains with breathtaking views, the sea side with weaves beating the shores is quite a spectacular view

Our guide Akoni was so knowledgeable about the history of Oahu. He brought the past alive. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to travel around.

Our tour guide Momi was a native Hawaiian and was from the area so she was knowledgable and had lots of stories about growing up there and how it’s changed. Momi was also very friendly and kind.

Great tour & Guide, crazy, rude fellow tourist on the bus

Chelsie was great very knowledgeable & patient. She gave us plenty of time at each location & even told us local places to eat & visit if we had the time. The only downside was dealing with this egotistic jerk all day. At the waterfall he made the whole bus wait 25 minutes after our set time, then blamed it on his wife saying he had a disability but she made him walk, “ yeah ok buddy”. Then he had the nerve to say he was going to write a bad review because we couldn’t tour the macadamia nut farm when, chelsie our tour guide told us we only had access to the store & smoothies. When a fellow tourist on our bus confronted him about it, this dude caused a scene in the store & was asked to take it out side. Later when Chelsie asked people in the back to quiet down, he flipped out on her, then said he said she hadn’t been quite the whole time. She is a tourist guide it’s her job to talk!?! He then started to threaten another tourist on our bus because she told him to be quiet & stop complaining. Man this guy was crazy! Anyway Chelsie handled it so professionally & deserves a raise or bonus for dealing with this guy. I have news for you crazy guy you are NOT a Warrior, you need to control yourself & respect others.

Great stops & information. Akoni was our guide & he was kind, funny & helpful. My 6yr old got motion sick & our guide continued checking on us & making us feel comfortable. The lunch provided is at an outside location & there were many flies which was a bit inconvenient but this stop on the tour is not very long. The Waimea falls take a small hike to get to (approx 20 mins) and it is a bit rocky to get down into the water so bring water shoes for that portion if you intend to swim.

I was very impressed with everything I learned on this tour. Our tour guide Big Tony is a very energetic, knowledgeable person. Hearing about his island was phenomenal. I loved all the locations, from the Waimea Falls to the Dole plantation and everything in between. I highly recommend this tour. Be sure to prepare for a long day of education, good food and meeting new people.

Everything from the pickup time and place was fantastic. "Kimo" our driver/tour guide was above and beyond excellent. Patient and knowledgeable about everything. (no joke) Really easy going but at the same token keeping everyone on schedule. I would highly recommend this tour. Worth the extra money for a smaller intimate group.

This was a very full filling and enjoyable tour. We got picked up at 8.15am from our hotel. Our tour driver Deno was very informative and friendly. He explained the history of Honolulu and many things we saw on the way around the island. We stopped regular to take photos etc. A very enjoyable day.
