    The historical info...
    David_N, Apr 2024
The historical info imparted by the tour guide. The opportunity to visit such a soleum memorial. Touching and emotional.
Great guide on the tour - Humuhumu
    Hazel_L, Apr 2024
Our guide, Humuhumu, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and it’s amazing how he spoke non-stop the entire time! A great singer too, as he attempted to educate the group on Hawaiian music, which is beautiful. The actual time at Pearl Harbor need not be that long, as there was not really that much to do.
I’m glad I went, we paid...

I’m glad I went, we paid too much. I recommend to go on your own, we found out that the entry is free once there. It only if you want to visit the usss Arizona you need tickets in advance. Of course, that part of the visit is touching and moving.
    Visiting the Arizona...

Visiting the Arizona Memorial. Very sobering. Everyone was so helpful & welcoming. Our bus driver was amazing.
    Recommend Juicy!
    HStarr_F, Jan 2024
Juicy was an absolute hoot! It is a somber memorial, but Juicy really threaded the needle between the appropriate respect and having a fun tour on the way there and back.

The tour just gets you to Pearl Harbor. You still need to pay once again when you are there to see the USS Arizona and Missouri, On the day of my tour there was a power outage and high winds there and did not have a chance to see much. The only good part of the tour is the driver Juicy who brings much needed entertainment.
    Terrible
    Mary_D, Nov 2023
Ot never happened. We booked thr tour on Sept 27th for October 19th. We were at thr pickup spot either our confirmation email. Thr driver didn't have our reservation. After 4 phone calls, I finally spoke to Nino who said he would refund our money and setup another reservation for 10/21, which I had to pay for again. However, the Pride Parade was happening on downtown Honolulu and many roads were closed. I called again to find out how to get to the pickup spot. We are from Florida and are not familiar with Honolulu. The person I spoke with did not know how to help. She said would help me get a refund since she couldn't help. The 2nd charge was processed in 10/20. I did finally get the first charge refunded, but the second has still not been refunded. My phone number is 863-529-5420. We were very disappointed we did not get to enjoy the tour we booked on 9/27.
    Wonderful Tour

Our driver Humu Humu AKA “Handsome” was a wonderful driver and narrator. We learned so much history and had a lot of laughs along the way. The Pearl Harbor experience was incredible-USS Arizon and museum.
    A great historical perspective!

Our tour guide, Ole, provided a great experience! He certainly knows the history of the island, as well as what transpired at Pearl Harbor.
    Confirm your pickup location!
    Robert_S, Oct 2023
Travel agency & tour company provided incorrect pickup location. After several heated arguments over the phone with tour company, finally picked up at location they originally provided causing a 45 minute delay missing several key Honolulu attractions prior to Pearl Harbor tour. Original tour operator customer service representative I spoke with should be fired! Tried to convince me that we were in the wrong pickup location until I read the email pickup location they sent me. Never apologized! Pearl Harbor was great facility but getting there via this tour operator was terrible!
Good option, but know the drawbacks
    Mauricio_M, Oct 2023
PH is a must while in O'ahu. This is one of the least expensive options to do it on a tour. It is a fun way to get there on a double decker, and have a learning and panoramic experience as well. Having said that, this tour offers dozens of pickup options but they end up changing your choice to one of their 5 pickup spots, so why not offer only those 5 spots since the begining for you to chose one? Also, you will be in a rush if you want to visit at least 3 of the main things to experience at PH, which are fully worth it. And you will pay for them in addition to the Arizona memorial, which is the one spot included in the tour beyond the transportation (Around US$30 for the USS Missouri access) An alternative is to take a bus on your own, and take your time to be at the PH Visitor Site. If you want to avoid that kind of trouble, this tour is a good option.
    Fabulous Tour
    John_M, Sep 2023
Our tour guide was fabulous. Told us a lot about the history of Hawaii and pointed out 👨 important historic buildings. He also had a great sense of humor.
    Bad trip
    Rebecca_H, Sep 2023
The speaker on the bus didn't work so the tour of the city was just a long bumpy ride. Then at Pearl Harbor the ferry was not running so we couldn't go to the Arizona Memorial. I am very disappointed
    Special tour

Experience was quite amazing. The Tour Guide was so informative and on occasion funny. He described everything we saw so eloquently. Pearl Harbor was so somber but at the same time so eye opener! The whole experience was so memorable. Mahalo

Our family enjoyed this trip. We appreciated the pre-trip communication from tour operator confirming the pick up time and location, precise and accurate. Our guide Nani was courteous, professional and fun! Recommend!
    Disaster Tour Operator
    STEVEN_K, Aug 2023
This tour operator is terrible. No customer service. DO NOT book this tour. You will regret booking with them.
    Excellent museum
    Rachelle_S, Jul 2023
Humu was an entertaining guide with lots of local knowledge. The tour bus is an open topped double decker with open sides so it gets breezy on the highway. At this point it gets noisy so it wasn't always easy to follow the commentary. There are several pick ups in honolulu/waikiki. The first stop was downtown honolulu for some photos by the Palace then on to pearl harbor. Please note the strict bag policy, available on the Pearl Harbor website - no opaque bags above cell phone size are allowed. Transparent bags are okay and anything you can put in a pocket or carry in your hand is ok. Otherwise there is a $7 bag check and a queue. We were told to bring ID but this wasnt checked. we had about 3 hours at pearl harbor from 12.30-3.30pm. Included in the ticket price is the museum, theatre show (the film is at 15 and 45 past the hour and lasts 25mins) and then the trip across to the Arizona memorial, which takes about 45mins. You are given an admission time on your ticket for the Arizona memorial and should line up 10mins before then. Note that water is the only refreshment allowed at the memorial. The memorial is very moving and museum very informative. There is also the submarine museum and chance to visit the Bowfin sub. I did this quickly and managed to fit it in - it is an extra $23. For an extra charge there are virtual reality headsets to use. The site also has an aviation museum and the battleship Missouri but this requires taking a bus over to Ford Island and is difficult in the time available. There is a gift shop and shop selling snacks. The museum has been done very well and there is so much information to try to take in.
    Entertaining, Sobering, Informative
    GerDonna_E, Jul 2023
Our driver/tour guide was Nani Popolo. He was great and really made the drive both entertaining and informative. Nani explained everything clearly and did a great job organizing a large group of people. Once we got to Pearl Harbor we were able to go through the museums on our own before our group reservation to go out to the USS Arizona. It is a sobering experience to visit the memorial. I love how both our tour guide and the people working at the memorial remind everyone to be respectful and quiet as you are really going to a cemetery where men gave their lives on the USS Arizona... I just wish people would listen. I was sad that there were quite a few people speaking louder than a whisper (it just seemed disrespectful). If you book this just keep in mind that the big orange E Noa tour buses don't have windows so you will be wind blown. It felt nice, but the thought of getting hit by a bird or rock definitely crossed my mind. So make sure any hats you are wearing are secure so you don't lose it in the wind. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience.
