A Little Disappointed

Our tour bus was an hour late picking us up so we didn’t get to see everything we were supposed to see. Our tour guide has only lived here for two years, so she wasn’t as knowledgeable as guides that I’ve had in the past who are island natives. She did try very hard to please us, but it just didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Great tour with Tyler. Only 6 people on the tour so it was nice, and questions were able to be asked / answered. Tyler was very informative and knew a lot about the island, culture, flowers, trees, wildlife and the surf scene. Highly recommended

Perfect day for a drive

Our guide, Lucas, was engaging and accommodating. The van was comfortable, but a little high off the ground for older folks. I did not ask for a stepping stool, which he may have had available if I had only asked. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

This was a nice tour and a great way to see the island. The tour guide had a wide range of knowledge about the various areas we visited, and I liked the way he wove in stories about what it was like growing up on the island.

Northshore day trip

Our guide was very knowledgeable and he was lovely and helpful. The drive was very scenic and we saw a lot in one day. Unfortunately we didn’t stop at Haliewa for the 30m slot because 2 people had dinner reservations at 5pm which became our problem. Not sure we should be accomadating other people’s dinner reservations and miss out on parts of the itinerary. I really wanted to stop at Haliewa as stated in the program but we didn’t so we could be back for other peoples reservation. Not happy!

Normally a 5pm Dinner reservation would not be a problem, unfortunately the traffic on the North Shore was very bad this day and the tour was running behind. We apologise we had to alter the route. We are proud to say our guides are well trained in Hawaiian and American History, know great spots to eat and drink and are always happy to recommend places off the beaten path. Horrible experience with your company. They lied to us on the phone about where to pick us up for the tour. So we couldn't go and the company REFUSED to give us a refund. We felt scammed!!!

Aloha Michelle, we looked into your case. You booked at 215pm on November 5th. We called you at 416pm - no answer. We texted you at 421pm the pick up location for the tour you booked. Since we weren't able to speak to you we are not sure who you think lied to you on the phone. The day of your tour we called again at 756am - no answer. We texted at 802am "Aloha Michelle. Kindly respond to our messages when you see them please. This is regarding your pick up today." - No response We called again at 824am - no answer We called again at 833am - no answer We called again at 843am - no answer At 858am you texted "OK". At 859 we texted you the Pick Up Location, again. At 902am you texted "Can't. We were told yesterday that we would be picked up here!! What will you do for us! What do we do now???" Finally you agreed to meet us at the pickup location... the driver had already left, because this is a group tour and there were other people in the van. However, the driver and the other guests were kind enough to wait for you so you could go on tour with us, experience the beautiful island of Oahu and relax in one of out luxurious Mercedes Vans (showing off here ;) We are not exactly sure why you think you are eligible for a refund.
