This food tour was so much fun! Aiden, our guide, was great. He was patient and accommodating plus he had some other great food recs. All of the food I tasted on the tour was amazing (the wings were incredible) and it was fun to learn a little about Key West along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Great food

Aidan was a great tour guide. The company had changed the stops and this was the first “new” tour, but he rolled with it! He shared a lot of Key West history and gave us his recommendations as a local. Tried lots of great food and were stuffed by the end of it!

Delicious and unique way to experience Key West

Our family had an amazing tour with Brad - this was one of the highlights of our time in Key West. Brad took us to a number of places we wouldn't have found on our own, and the food at each stop was amazing. Brad was friendly and engaging, and share a lot of fun information about various historical sites we passed on our walk and the restaurants where we were eating. Everything we ate was delicious - highly recommend this tour (and Brad) to anyone who enjoys food!

A day well spent

We learned not only about the different foods of the area, but historical facts as well. We were brought into restaurants and cafes that I think we may not have noticed without going on this tour. The Cuban bagel, the jerk wings which were really delicious, as well as conch fritters, smoked tuna chili and key lime pie, all food that is served here but not up north where we live which is really unfortunate. Our tour guide John was very interesting and enthusiastic about everything that he was showing us. He made a huge effort to get to know us all individually as well. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide was excellent. Very personable and fun. Definitely loves what he is doing. The stops were great but gave it four instead of five stars because wasn’t fond of the stop with the conch fritters. Fritters were excellent but the restaurant was uncomfortable to sit at. Liked the stop at the distillery even though I don’t like rum. Would recommend the tour

Great food and a great way to see and learn about Key West

We had a GREAT time. Our guide HANK was fantastic, with an immense knowledge of local history. The tour was even better than advertised. We walked right past many of the touristy spots and focused on those off-the-grid places that are known mostly by locals. This is NOT white tablecloth, fine dining...but everything we had was genuine, interesting and good. We are both 70ish...the walking was easy...mostly level, few stairs. I would highly recommend this to those interested in sampling local culture. A BIG special THANK YOU to HANK!

Greatly enjoyed folk-lore, flavor, and fun around town

Our walking food tour was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Key West. Denny, our guide, did a great job of planning and narrating a truly interesting, fun, and delicious excursion for our group. We visited quite a few historical and unique restaurants where Denny had ordered ahead so we could taste specialty foods and/or beverages while we chatted and learned some of the local lore and “flavor” of this unique and fascinating town. He also took us to a rum distillery at which we were shown the process of creating the rum, and also got to sample it. The pace of the tour was just right as we walked to different sites, and Denny was the perfect guide. He combined a good deal of history and factual information with a delightful bit of humor. He definitely played a major part in making this experience excellent, and well worth the “price of admission!”

Fun food tour

Our tour was with Denny and it was amazing! We had a surprise private tour. wasn’t supposed to be private we were just the only ones who showed up, and it was the best thing that could have ever happened. The food was amazing and we saw part of Key West that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Also went to some “hole-in-the-wall” local places that had some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. The only issue (that’s wasn’t much of an issue) is that this company offers a alcoholic drink upgrade for you to purchase as part of the food tour. But in booking through Viator, that wasn’t offered. We only found out about it once the tour started. But apparently if you book through secret tours that’s the only way to add the upgrade. My partner and I still were able to try a bunch of different local beers and cocktails on the tour so I’m not sure how much it would have been with adding the drinks.
