What To Expect

Your tour begins with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel (select hotels only). It’s about a 45-minute drive to Red Rock Stables, and your driver-guide will entertain you along the way with an introduction to the region’s history and natural wonders.

On arrival at the stables, you’ll meet the wranglers, who will match you with a suitable horse, depending on your riding experience. You’ll receive a brief lesson to learn the basics of riding and safety techniques (for beginners) or to get to know your horse (for more experienced riders), and once you’re feeling comfortable, you’ll set out on a scenic 2-hour ride.

Enjoy riding through the rugged landscapes of the Red Rock Canyon, stopping along the way to take in the desert views and learn more about the region’s native plants and wildlife.

Your tour ends back at the ranch, where you’ll be transferred back to your Las Vegas hotel.

Breathtaking scenery on the most impeccably behaved horses. The wranglers were friendly helpful and informative. I thought walking the edge of the Grand Canyon was thrilling but there is nothing more exhilarating than riding round the rim of Red Rock Canyon.

Great horse riding experience for beginners

Great time riding the horses. I was nervous since I've never ridden a horse before but the experience was amazing. The horses are smart and pretty much go on autopilot. The handlers were great with first timers. Would do again.

Everything went smoothly, from the moment of booking, then the pickup & drive, mounting the horse and the ride itself was very enjoyable and relaxing. After ~15minutes of riding we stopped for a photo (the cowboys helped everyone take pictures) and, if necessary, the cowboys helped readjust the saddle/stirrup.

Many of the horses were mules. First time for me, and I liked it. Staff was very friendly and safety aware. The ride was not exactly through Red Canyon but along a rim: Even with a fear of heights that was ok: My mule was taking care of everything. Great views.
