The operator is located inside the Hoover Dam Lodge. If you wish to bypass the shuttle and meet directly at the river you can do so, but the national park will require a fee of $25 per vehicle if you don't have a national park pass. Please enquire if you would like this option

The complimentary shuttle picks up at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Please ensure you are on time to your given location out of respect to other guests on tour. Failure to be on time could result in a loss of the tour without refund. These specified hotels have quick and easy access for the shuttle to get through the busy strip, so you can spend less time in traffic and more time on the river! Travelers may also meet at the office located inside The Hoover Dam Lodge Casino. There is free parking and is last to be picked up and first to be dropped off from the shuttle. Travelers may meet at launch destination (25804 Willow Beach Rd, Willow Beach, AZ 86445) *National Park vehicle entrance fee is $25 (payable direct to the National Park Service)
What To Expect
Get picked up from your Las Vegas hotel or, if you prefer, you can also meet at the local operator’s office, which is a short drive from the Strip.
Once your guide has assigned everyone in your group a kayak, start your journey by paddling upstream into Black Canyon. Enjoy beautiful sights as you travel through and stop for a snack. Make your way to Emerald Cave where you can take a dip in the emerald-green-colored water before going back to Willow Beach. Call it a day and get shuttled back to your hotel.
Please note: In order for the local operator to obtain the necessary permits for this tour ALL traveler names must be provided as they appear on a government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport. Your tour will not be confirmed unless all names are provided. Please ensure all names are spelled correctly, names cannot be changed once reservation is submitted.

Our guide Mack, was awesome, super friendly, knowledgeable and fun! The group we were with became a part of our experience and we all had a blast together-even though we were strangers prior to the trip. The views were spectacular and the water was magical!! Our bachelorette group had an awesome time! The kayaking wasn't strenuous and was done at a liesurely pace. Our guide was knowledgable and engaged with (tolerated :) ) our large group joking around with him. Snacks and water provided were appreciated. Would recommend as a fun outdoorsy day trip that's only about an hour drive outside of Vegas.

We had a great time out on the lake with our guide, Jamaica. We were able to paddle into the Emerald cave with only about a 10 minute wait. My daughter and husband were able to use a tandem kayak. The kayaks have rudders which help with steering.

Excellent excursion! Everyone at Blazin Saddles provided an enjoyable and comfortable day getting off the strip and into nature. The communication with Blazin Paddles helped me feel well prepared for the day. The pickup and drop off service at Mandalay Bay was efficient and the sprinter van was comfortable for the scenic drive out to the river. Of course the real fun was the kayaking itself. I requested to paddle tandem with my guide since I was a solo traveler. Walter was very knowledgeable, friendly, and honestly made the excursion a great one from start to finish. We saw so much wildlife while on the river!! Blue fox, an eagle, big horn sheep, etc. The canyon was picturesque and we learned a little bit of history along our route. I have only the best things to report about the kayak equipment and the experience overall. I had been a little nervous going on this excursion by myself. But Walter put me at ease and provided a great day! I highly recommend booking with Blazin Paddles!

Pick up and drop off were well coordinated. The kayak was in good condition and the life jacket was good quality. The kayak guide was helpful. There were plenty of snacks and water bottles.
